because two weeks ago our pastor pastor

ray roberts began a series on the

anointing

it has been such a blessing and if you

haven’t watched it i encourage you right

now the part one well maybe not right

now

but today okay part one and part two

it’s on our youtube channel

you need that in your life because the

topic of the anointing

it is too grand it is to this it is it

is as though you want to describe

god how do you do that it is too grand

to fit in just the time that we have

together

and so when you watch that it would even

give more context to what i’m going to

teach on today

and i’m going to be teaching on today

activating

the anointing you see when you receive

the lord jesus

what you received with the spirit of the

lord and the spirit of the lord

is the source of the anointing but

having the source

does not mean that you’ve activated it

in your life

you see for instance there’s many

arguments about

you know do you become a believer when

you start speaking in tongues or do you

become a believer like what

how do you what is the sign that you

have the holy spirit and the sign that

you have the holy spirit is that you

have proclaimed

that jesus is lord because you cannot do

that without the spirit of god

but having the ability i’m using

speaking in tongues because there’s even

a personal story i have attached to that

but having the ability to speak in

tongues does not mean or

not even speaking in tongues rather when

you receive the holy spirit

does not take away your salvation

experience

but that means that you have access to

the source

but yet you have not activated its

ability

you have not activated what is available

to you through the spirit of god

you see i gave my life to the lord at

nine years old

but it wasn’t until many years later

that i began to speak in tongues

and actually it’s a it’s an interesting

story this message is not about tongues

but just stay with me

is going to connect you see first of all

this message on the anointing it is so

critical to your life that you actually

i

i need right now your undivided

attention

and the beautiful thing family is that

because the lord is with me

if you feel like you are not blessed

which i think will be impossible

i will ask that he add this minute to

your lifespan

so nothing was lost

but here’s the thing right when we talk

about speaking in tongues my experience

with speaking in tongues

was i was studying the word of god

and i was studying how the disciples

were speaking in tongues and

and the people around them were hearing

what and they could interpret what the

disciples were saying

and i became so intrigued by this

because i was like wow

there is the ability through the holy

spirit to speak in tongues that

already exist on the earth because the

holy spirit is all knowledge and all

wisdom he knows everything he knows

every language that exists

and there’s also the tongues that we

call our heavenly language

the one that is discerned by the father

and i was so intrigued by this i went

home this is my story everybody’s story

is different

i went home and i desired it i said lord

i see that it’s available right here

was speaking in tongues i’m no different

than peter

and i’m like lord i want to speak in

tongues and one of the things that the

bible tells us

is that it is unfruitful to the mind so

it’s not that your mind is like

connected to what you’re doing

and so literally i was like you know

what i need proof

that what i’m doing is speaking in

tongues so

i want to start with speaking a language

that

exists on the earth this is this is

hilarious right

and i take out my laptop and i go to

what every

believer does we go to google google

translate

i take on my laptop and i go to google

translate and i said lord

i desire to speak in tongues for my

spiritual maturity

and you it’s available in you and i have

your spirit so i should be able to do

this

and i was like i’m just going to open my

mouth whatever comes out i’m going to

write it to the best of my abilities

and so i did and however whatever i was

saying

i wrote it down to the best of my

abilities and i put it right there in

google translate english you know

whatever it is to english

figure it out google detect language

and google being as wise as it is

found the language that i was speaking

and there was one particular thing that

i said

that stood out to me and actually i

carry it until now

and that was joseph is a position of

circumstance

just stay with me family we’re gonna get

to where we’re going

is that joseph is a position of

circumstance and the

the thing that was so intriguing about

that is that when i began to ask the

lord

why was the spirit praying this because

when you pray in the spirit the bible

calls it a perfect prayer

and i said why is why is this what came

out

and the lord began to show me that your

spirit was actually praying for your

ability to endure

you see everybody wants to have the

story the end story of joseph right

and this is not joseph the husband of

mary but joseph the one who was sold

into slavery by

his brothers joseph had a dream when he

was a child

a dream given him given to him by god

one that showed

that joseph would be in the position of

authority

and later on in his life that dream

manifested

but there was a lot of trials and

tribulations before he got him there

and so when he finally got there it’s

like there was the ability to endure

so the lord began to show me he said

your spirit was praying for your ability

to endure because like you

the place that i’ve called you to to get

there

is a position of circumstances you’re

going to go through a lot of things

but you need to know how to endure it

now this was fascinating to me

because i said wow all along i had

access to this but i had never

activated it because you see the the

apostle paul

said something about spiritual gifts he

said pursue

love and earnestly desire spiritual

gifts

now why this is a big deal is because

the apostle paul

as an apostle one of the functions of

their office

is to teach on the mysteries of god and

how the kingdom of god

operates that is why there is a

scripture when the apostle paul

he told the people that you ought to

regard me

as one as a steward of the mysteries of

god

so when the apostle paul said this is

how you

you activate spiritual gifts in your

life you pursue love

your motivation should be that of love

that which is selfless

and you should desire it you should

believe that you would receive it in

your life

now you see the reason that i’m sharing

this is that in order to

activate what is available to you

through the holy spirit there are

mysteries that have to be revealed

similar to the spiritual gifts or what

many people may call the manifestations

of the spirit

there is a mystery behind it it is not

just that you

god is not unjust there is a key there

is a key there is an

insight there is a knowledge there is a

revelation behind

accessing the things of god

and so when we talk about the anointing

it is one thing to have the source of

the anointing

and it’s another thing to activate the

anointing

and that’s what we’re going to be

talking about today and i want us to go

to

a scripture and this is in

matthew matthew chapter 3 verse 16

to chapter 4 verse 1 and we’re going to

read it

and it says and when jesus was baptized

immediately he went up from the water

and behold

the heavens were opened up to him and he

saw the spirit of god

descending like a dove and coming to

rest on him

and behold a voice from heaven said this

is

my beloved son with whom i am

well pleased then jesus was led up by

the spirit

into the wilderness to be tempted

by the devil now you may be wondering

what does this have to do with the

anointing but this has a lot to teach us

about activating and understanding the

purpose of the anointing

you see first of all it tells us that

when jesus was baptized

the first key thing i want you to take

there are four key things that we’re

going to extract from this scripture

and the first key thing is this the cost

of the anointing the cost of activating

the anointing is death

the cost of activating the anointing

is death it says when jesus

was baptized now today we understand

that baptism means that

the old life is buried in christ the old

life is gone your old life is buried

and when you come out of the water you

are rising up to your new life in christ

rather

but the old life it’s in the water it’s

buried in the

on the cross with christ and all of that

and when you rise up

all of a sudden you’re rising up to new

life and that is why

even as a church community we encourage

people to be baptized

when they’re older and have an

understanding of baptism

because baptism is not just about going

inside the water and coming out or

having a sprinkle of jesus on your face

baptism is much deeper than that

and so we understand this in our time

but in the when jesus was baptized by

his cousin john

john in the wilderness had one message

that he was preaching one key message

and that message was repent for the

kingdom of god is at hand

so when john baptized it was called that

it was a baptism

unto repentance now this was intriguing

to me because i’m like but why would the

lord need to repent

but you see repentance many of us

understand repentance to be about

turning away from sin but it’s not just

about turning away from sin

it’s about what you are turning to

because

sin is bigger than your lying and your

cheating and all that stuff

sin is when you miss the mark anything

that draws you away from the call of god

on your life is sin

and in this moment when jesus goes to

john to be baptized by

john it was a symbol of death

death to the nature and the will of the

flesh

and life to the purpose and the will of

god

that is why you will often hear when

jesus will later on say in his ministry

not my will but yours be done yours he’s

speaking to the father

because jesus had a will and it showed

us that his will

what the will of his flesh was not

really the will

of the father but when he said this this

baptism it was not just about the water

he said i would lay my life down i would

appoint my life

to the plan and the purpose of the

father i will appoint my life to the

reason i was sent on the earth

that moment of the baptism was a symbol

of death

you see when you are seeking to be

anointed by god

you have to ask yourself am i willing

to die to self because jesus later on

will say something like this he will

talk about how

that for this reason i believe this was

in john 10 or so he would say for this

reason

the god loves me the father loves me

because

i lay down my life

the laying down of his life we see the

symbolic

it was symbolic that moment of the

baptism

he said i lay down my life and to lay

down your life is to appoint your life

he said my life is not random that in

this moment i recognize that the reason

of me being here has an appointment it

has a mission

it has an assignment and i say

yes to it that moment of the baptism

jesus was saying whatever the flesh

desires that is what i’m not saying yes

to

i’m not leaning into the way of my flesh

i’m leaning into the things of the

spirit

i’m leaning to the reason the father

sent me i’m saying

yes to god this is a moment of surrender

and truth

the cost of activating the anointing is

death

the spirit of the lord is drawn to that

which is dead in the flesh

when your flesh is just so active and

hyper first of all it’s evil

it’s so difficult to even be led by the

spirit because we’re led by ego we’re

led by pride we’re led by

by whatever the society is drawing us to

but that

moment when you truly say yes to god it

is a moment of saying god

you have your way in my life i don’t

want to do this thing i don’t i am tired

of living a life beneath my special as

our pastor would call it

that there is something about me that i

know

and i don’t want to lean in my own

wisdom anymore

you see when many of you i shared the

story about how god just

interrupted my norm and told me to leave

all everything that was doing

business and all of that and told me to

move and led me to this church and

and the first thing he told me to do was

to be an usher in this house

but the thing that i did not share with

you

is that before any of that happened

i reached a point in my life that i was

tired

i was literally tired of living beneath

what i know was what was in me

it was hard for me to get out of bed yes

money was flowing and all of that but

inside of me something felt dead

and i began to ask the lord

i said god whatever it is

whatever it is that you would need me to

do

i don’t want to live this life this is

not who you’ve called me to be

something in me was aggravated

and you have to get tired

if you love living a lie then you are

not ready to access

and activate the anointing upon your

life

i got to a place that i said lord i

really don’t care what you asked me to

do

i don’t care if you asked me to move to

alaska even though you know i hate the

cold

it didn’t matter to me family

i reached the point that you see the

moment of salvation

is actually a bit different than the

moment of your of of york of a

consecrated yes

because when you give your life to the

lord there is a

love attracts you there is a love of god

that makes you say wow

i want to know you jesus this is

exciting who are you

i received the lord at night but it did

not fully change my nature

it took me into the process of my nature

being changed

i was still doing my own thing very much

but there was a moment there was a

moment where it was not just about

saying yes to jesus as my savior

it was about saying yes to jesus as my

lord

lord i want you to lead me first i

recognize that you saved me and that is

beautiful

i recognize that you are my family i

recognize that you love me i recognize

that you will protect me

but now i want to be led by you

so you can know the lord and still live

a life that may not really look like him

you can believe in god but yet you are

not fully committed to his ways

some of you watching you can say yes i

love the lord but

no one needs to tell you the things that

you’re doing that you know is not in

full alignment with the ways of god

you have to reach a point in your life

when you truly say lord i am

tired during the series our pastor

talked about how

the anointing is the guarantee of your

progress

if something is the guarantee of your

progress in the things of god

shouldn’t you be curious about that

when i got to that place it was not too

long

after that that the lord said to me

stephanie leave everything

and move here and i responded

and did just that i knew was going to

cost me

but there was nothing i desired more

than to walk out the version of me that

god knows

and when you get to that point when you

get to the level that you say

lord i am tired if i’m speaking to you

put that in the comment right now

because as as long as you love where you

are you will not

change as long as you love

the comfort of your life you will not

know progress

you would not know true progress in god

that moment changed everything for me

you see it reminds me of the rich young

ruler

who came to jesus when he came to jesus

he said look

all these things i’ve done what else can

i do he

he was eager he there was something

about jesus that he knew he was

connected to

ultimately when jesus told him sell

everything you have

give it to the poor and follow me what

drew you to me

in order for you to walk in it this is

the requirement

but the rich young ruler loved his life

too much

the bible tells us that he walked away

and he was and this is the thing this is

not even in my notes

he walked away and he was sad his

disposition changed

because the truth family is that you can

hunger

for more but until that hunger becomes

starvation

until you reach the point that you

recognize that nothing else satisfies

you

except the things of god you will not

change

and to get to that level you have to

commit your ways to the lord you have to

meditate on the things of god to realize

why you need the lord

many times we get comfortable in our

ways that we lose sight

i was comfortable i was making great

money i was writing devotionals and

sharing them online

and i said hey this is great but

something in me

needed to be unleashed and i couldn’t

silence that noise any longer

maybe that’s where you are and what i’m

telling you is that you are

in the right place because to truly

activate the anointing that you have

you you’re connected to you have to

reach that point of saying lord not my

will but yours be done

whatever that looks like whatever that

looks like

because the moment you reach there the

lord will take you through a process to

test your heart

he will take you through a process to

test your character

he will take you through a process to

test the loyalty of your yes

you see it’s interesting with the

israelites

the word of god tells us that they were

in the wilderness

why because the lord was actually

testing their heart

when the lord talks about david he said

this is one that i have found that would

be

loyal to me that his heart is loyal to

me

could it be that david being a shepherd

boy and being despised by his father was

a test of god

could it be that you may be in a place

right now that all god is doing is

testing your heart

that i’m talking to some of you and you

have said that and what god

led you to do is not what you thought it

would be

but what if god is testing your

obedience he is testing where does your

loyalties

truly lie jesus told that rich young

ruler all he said was

sell everything and follow me he didn’t

give him the

he didn’t give him a scope of what would

take place you know i will make you a

disciple i will make you an apostle i

would anoint you with

the ability to cast out demons he didn’t

say any of that

he said just follow me walk away from it

all and follow me and we will go on a

journey together

because you see the interesting thing

family god is taking over this message

when jesus selected 12 of the disciples

to be apostles

it wasn’t only 12 disciples that

followed him

there were many disciples that followed

the lord there were many people that

followed jesus

that is why in the scripture it talks

about how jesus went up to the mountain

to pray

he went to seek counsel from the father

that out of all these people that follow

me who should be the apostles

and the father revealed 12 out of the

bunch

you see when when you be when you come

to a place and you say lord

i am tired of living a lie the

instructions god gives you

is the test of your heart

i know that david was one who truly said

lord whatever it took

because for david to put his life in

danger to protect sheep that was not

natural

sheep could be replaced it could be

bought life cannot be bought i mean

you know sheep they’re they’re animals

and they

they have life in them but just follow

me the purpose of the sheep

could have been replaced

but david would risk his own life

to protect his father’s sheep a man that

despised him

he was not moving in a natural mindset

he was moving in the mindset that that

was to please god that everything he did

he did it as it was unto god

when the lord took me from everything

and he gave me certain

instructions it was to test the loyalty

of my heart

he said how loyal would you be to me

there were things that the lord asked of

me and if you

know me if you know if you if you knew

me in my past

it’s things that i mean like this is

this is a lot for my ego

that for me to subject myself to certain

things i felt like god this this

this the same me you know when you want

to you don’t want you want to tell god

like

look i you know where i came from where

did we really come from

this is just pride but god was saying

look i’m going to

test the loyalty of your heart i’m going

to test what you think you are too big

to do or to whatever to do

i’m gonna test that and god began to

break me

everything that would ever keep me bound

every lie

every pride every ego he began to break

that in me

because honestly i didn’t care what the

lord asked me to do

if the lord asked me to go clean the

bathroom at 7 11 i would do it with a

smile

because at that point i said god

whatever it is that you desire

you may be in a position right now and

all the lord is doing is

testing the loyalty of your heart

because to truly activate the anointing

you have to choose death death to the

flesh

and yes to the things of god the second

thing i want you to write down

is that the anointing it prospers you

you see the bible tells us in the

scripture that we read

it says the heavens were open to jesus

the heavens were open to jesus

and when the heavens were opened it was

not a natural thing like the clouds just

kind of like separated and all that

it was a spiritual thing because what

came as a result was spiritual

he says when the heavens were open all

of a sudden the spirit

of god descended and came

upon the lord to rest on him

when the heavens are open to you it

means that all of heaven’s resources

is behind you to back up the very thing

that god has called you to do

you see when i was studying this there

was something that the lord

said to me that it stood out to me so

much about the anointing

and i want you to write this down first

of all that the anointing

is the power of god to accomplish his

purpose

in your life but there is something so

beautiful about why the anointing it

doesn’t just prosper you randomly

you see we we know the scripture our

pastor even taught on this scripture

when it talks about

and david wrote this when it said that

you know when it talks about the blessed

man in psalms 1

that anything he does prospers but when

you look at the life of

david anything is not a random statement

it doesn’t mean that you could just you

know

hey just you know flip the coin and

choose one

when you look at the life of david you

have to even look at where it who said

it

david did not live a random life david

would be one that when he’s going to

somewhere he will say lord shall we go

is this a battle that you have appointed

for us

what david talks about that anything

this blessed person does prospers

is that anything that is assigned to you

by god

is guaranteed to prosper that is the

power of the anointing

you see the lord said something to me

and i love it and he talked about that

when

that the anointing is when he god

obligates himself to the progress of

your life

and this is why because there is a

shared interest

when you can appoint your life for the

things of god

when you say yes to god you have a

shared

interest with the father because now

your mindset is about establishing

the kingdom that you’re saying lord

i share in what you desire i share in

what your heart longs for

and when you get to that point the lord

himself would obligate himself

to your prosperity to your progress in

what he’s called you to do

that’s why whatever you do under the

word of god it cannot

fail and fail is what is is the out is

the end

outcome many times we’re calling the

trials and tribulations of failure but

that is not a failure sometimes that is

to strengthen you

that is part of the process

at the end of it it cannot fail

you see it’s so beautiful because this

experience of the

of the spirit coming upon jesus david

actually had a similar experience and i

want to read this to you i want you to

see this

so you can make note of it and first

samuel

um chapter 16 verse 13 it talks about

then

they then samuel rather took the horn of

oil and anointed him david

in the midst of his brothers and the

spirit of god

came upon david from that day

forward the moment that he was

anointed the spirit of god came upon him

but i was intrigued by that

because i said but david always had the

spirit of god with

him because when he was fighting the

lion

and fighting the bear it was the spirit

of god that was with him

so what what changed what was different

when i

studied what this actually meant you see

when the spirit came upon him

that actually translates to it prospered

him

that the spirit prospered david from

that day

forward and it was not a random prosper

it was to prosper him for the what the

word was released for

the lord said to samuel anoint david to

be

king there was a purpose for the

anointing

similar to the lord jesus he said that

you know the spirit of the lord is upon

me i believe this is in luke

the spirit of the lord is upon me for he

has anointed me

and the lord began to describe the

different things that he has been

anointed for

so david was anointed to be king

and the anointing is what marks the

guarantee

of your progress in that that david no

matter the trials and tribulations you

see in life

at the end you will sit on that throne

the anointing cannot be stopped

the beautiful thing about the anointing

is that it is when god

empowers what your life has always been

set apart for

the lord said to jeremiah he said before

you were born

i set you apart and i appointed you

a prophet to the nations before you were

born you were set apart for something

your life is not random there is

something that the lord

sets you apart to do and the anointing

is to establish you in that very thing

but it begins when you stop leaning on

the wisdom of your life

when you say lord i surrender all what

is it that you would have me do where is

it that you would have me go

i say yes to your leading

who do you say i am when you become

curious

about what god knows about you you

cannot fail in that

you see the beautiful thing again about

the anointing

and i want you to write this down is

that the anointing the mark of the

anointing

is the revelation of your i am

it was said in the scripture that we

read that and behold a voice from heaven

said this is my beloved

son it was a moment of identity

a moment of identity just like i said

with david david was not just anointed

randomly

it was not just about the prophet coming

to him and saying i just put oil on you

he was anointed to become king

you may not need someone to touch you

with oil actually you don’t

it’s nice but you don’t need that

what you need is a word what word has

god spoken to you about who you are

what conviction have you felt in your

heart about your i

am that is a mark of the anointing

when you begin to have an understanding

about the mystery of your life that is a

mark of the anointing that is the

anointing

at work in you you see there is a story

i’ve never shared with anyone

but when i was in this house i was

serving as an usher

there was a particular day that pastor

ebenezer was preaching

and he was talking about his story and

he was talking

about what god has done how he

encountered the lord in this house

and how he’s been raised in his gift and

his anointing

in this house and when he was preaching

my heart was on fire

because i could connect with him i

understood that lord

i i this is even further confirmation

that you are calling me to be one who

speaks of your word you are calling me

to be one who proclaims the gospel who

speaks of the kingdom

you are calling me to make the name of

jesus no i connected with that in that

moment

i didn’t need anyone to lay hands on me

to let me know

i already understood it in my heart and

god kept giving me further confirmations

at the end of the service i waited for

mostly everyone to leave

and i came right around here i came to

the altar

and i knelt down before the altar and i

called on the name of the lord

and i said lord i know without a doubt

what you’ve called me to and i

still say yes

the anointing comes with the word nobody

touched me but my

body was on fire

i couldn’t there was something i

couldn’t contain in me

because when god’s word comes to you

it is his anointing there was a man who

had

insight about this when it came to jesus

he had a servant the bible tells us he

had a servant that was sick

and he came to jesus and jesus is like

oh let’s go to your house he said i

don’t need you to do all that

i just need you to release a word

the scripture tells us again that he

sent his word and it healed our diseases

you may have been waiting for someone to

come and lay hands on you you don’t need

that

you may feel like in this time that of

covid lord there are restrictions that

that keep me away from knowing about who

i am

you don’t need that you need the word

from god

that shows you who you are

it may come from a friend it may be sent

to you even through a message like this

it may be a conviction in your heart

it may be something that echoes to you

this is who you are

the foundation of your identity is that

you are a child of god

and more layers begin to be revealed

when you know what god has said about

you

you cannot fail at it it is impossible

to fail

at what god has set you apart to do

because

literally all of heaven is backing you

up

the lord himself is obligated to you

because there is a shared

interest in manifesting the kingdom

what word are you convicted by

and are you leaning into it because this

brings me to the final thing that i want

that is so critical that you have to

take note of

that the anointing operates where the

spirit leads

you see in that scripture it tells us

then jesus was

led up by the spirit he was

led by the spirit he wasn’t forced by

the spirit to be led by the spirit means

that he followed the spirit

you see before jesus had followers he

was a follower of the spirit

before he had disciples he was a

disciple to the spirit

he was led by the spirit are you leaning

in the direction of your anointing

can you imagine if david when goliath

showed up

he said you know what i don’t want to

fight no more this looks too big for me

i don’t know i might not win but he was

already anointed for it

the anointing would only operate where

the spirit leads

it’s not going to operate where your

fear leads it’s not going to operate

with offense unforgiveness comparison

it doesn’t operate there it operates

where the spirit leads

when david did what was led by the

spirit he saw victory in

everything that is why even jesus

jesus would be in a town i love jesus

man there’s so much you learn from his

his walk on the earth and just who he is

jesus would be in a town he’s healing

people he’s doing all this stuff it’s

amazing teaching the people the word of

god

and then all of a sudden he tells his

disciples he’s like okay

i’ll wrap this up we have to go to more

towns so that i can preach there also

for this is why i came jesus was never

one who

was distracted he had a focus he had an

assignment

he didn’t care what if the people

applauded him

if he had another mission he was leaving

the place of the applause

to go to the next town that he may

continue to do the work of god

don’t be led by the sound of the

applause be led by the spirit of god

lean into the thing that god has

anointed you for

the anointing is attracted to battles

there may be some battles and challenges

in your life leaning to it is the

anointing that is drawing you

the battle is actually what should be

afraid of you

you see true story there was a time in

my life i don’t know where this fear

came from

but i used to have this fear of being

kidnapped like literally

i just had this like it was just like

this paranoia about being kidnapped

maybe because i don’t know i don’t even

know what to tell you maybe why

i just had this thing about being

kidnapped and then when the lord began

to

speak to me about the anointing all of a

sudden there were all these fears that

were breaking off my life

because what i understood is that the

anointing is the guarantee that i will

be fine

the anointing is the guarantee that i

don’t have to be i’m not worried about a

sickness

i’m not worried about premature death

i’m not worried about

oh i’m not worried about it because i

recognize that whenever god is going to

call me home it will be my time

because i have given my life i have

appointed my life to the things of god

my life is not random he is obligated to

my life

because we have a shared interest i have

laid my life to say lord

you have your way not my will but yours

and in the vision i saw the sons and

daughters of god in a room

and there was a ceiling it was a low

limitation there was something that was

keeping them there

but it was not just that on the ceiling

were these

huge webs thick webs

like spiderweb it’s like spiderman

showed up in that

vision it was really thick that you and

it was not even recognized that was the

interesting thing

at first glance you don’t even recognize

that there are webs on the ceiling

but the moment you try to put to push

the ceiling

up the webs like they

they hold whatever you’re trying to use

so somebody was trying to use a stick

like a rod

to hit the ceiling and the webs just

kind of like grabbed the rod like you

could even go through the webs they were

so thick and so i began to ask the lord

i said lord what are you showing me and

what is it that you want me to pray

concerning your people

and he began to talk to me about a web

of lies

he said what you should be under is an

open heaven

jesus was under an open heaven open

heaven’s resources

is ready to back up your life because

you have submitted your life to the very

purpose of god on your life but instead

they were under a web of lies and i said

what is this lie what is this deceit

what are you showing

me you see there are many people right

particular the lord showed me

who would actually watch this message

from a hospital room

after an attempted suicide there are

many of you right now and you feel like

life is not worth living there there are

lies there all these lies from the enemy

that to cloud your judgment about who

you are and what you have

taking place

this word is sent forth to break up

these webs

because your life matters you may feel

because you can be living like someone

has to manifest

drawn to obstacles

it is drawn to reveal what you are under

you have a calling and you have a

purpose you have been set apart for an

assignment by god

have this fear of what is it going to

cost me

it’s what it would cost you is what you

desire for it to cost you it will cost

you everything that you are not

that you would become who you truly are

i see some of you who have been in that

testing ground there are things that

there are unique things that the lord

has requested from you

there are unique things about your

business that the lord has said you

should do and you shouldn’t do

all of it is to test the loyalty of your

heart

and just like the spirit of god was

praying for through me for my life that

i also pray that you would endure every

season that looks like hardship

because it’s going to lead to somewhere

where is god in the midst of all this

his thoughts and other thoughts that as

ways god is a strategist

lean into it

say yes to it and you will see what god

to have trust me

there are moments i tell you that i’ll

be preaching and i’m in excruciating

but i get up here anyway and it would

just be pain that comes from nowhere

because i understand that lord i’m under
