hey family pastor Toure here I’m excited

about this message of getting ready to

watch it’s gonna bless your life and

there’s another blessing that I pray

that you be able to avail yourself to I

wrote my second book called wholeness

winning in life from the inside out this

book is going to change your life it’s

all about identifying and uncovering

some invisible boundaries that keep you

from your potential it’s a great

blessing with a foreword even from our

Bishop TD jakes enjoy but for now enjoy

this video I’ve been praying and

studying about just what God would have

us to just sit with in this time

together I won’t be up here very long

but I have to tell you that I got this

word like in the craziest most random

way we were at home in Denver and I was

cooking cuz that’s what I do I like to

cook it’s like a thing for me and I have

a lot of cooking ministries I have a

fried-chicken ministry I have a

poundcake ministry I have a spaghetti

ministry but where God has really been

using and functioning in my anointing

for cooking has really been

chocolate-chip cookies and I have a

chocolate chip anointing because here’s

the thing chocolate chip cookies like

they just feel like everything’s going

to be okay I don’t know what it’s about

that but I made myself this promise like

I wanted to be the mom that made just

like the best chocolate chip cookies

like I just wanted them to feel like

love and acceptance and just strength

and courage all in the cookie is

powerful and I would make something for

y’all but there’s too many of you so you

just have to take my word for it and so

I was making these chocolate chip

cookies in Denver and I was really

excited because we had just moved and

the kids were excited because it’s like

a thing with us and you know that my

bonus children call me my during like my

dreams gonna make cookies and so it’s

like a thing right and so I made the

cookies you know saying

because that’s very important I don’t

play with my ingredients it’s a certain

kind of thing I need don’t mess me up

because you know the enemy will try and

have people when you go to the store for

people that come back with stuff to try

to mess up your cookies but when you

have a cookie ministry you got to be you

got to stand tall so I got my

ingredients and I made my cookies and I

put the cookies in the oven but the

thing is that when I put the cookies out

that wasn’t the same cookies that I make

in California and that was confusing for

me because I did everything the right

way it was like all of the exact

ingredients and I mean the cookies taste

good they just didn’t look the way that

they were supposed to look and so that’s

all right maybe it was the baking so

just I made the cookies again and still

the cookies just didn’t they were flat

they were spread out all thin and my

ministry for cookies they’re soft

they’re you know like firm and steadfast

unshakable movie cookies but talked at

the same time as steadfast as powerful

and but for some reason these cookies

were just not making that turn in Denver

the way that they do in California so I

went to Rabbi Google coz rabbi Google

knows everything and I’m like Google

cookies altitude Wesa and evidently

there’s something about the altitude

that changes the chemistry in the

cookies and I didn’t know that but I was

still functioning as if I could function

the way I functioned in California but

there’s something that happens when you

reach a new elevation that you can’t

just do things the way that you always

did them and expect to get the same

results and the crazy thing is like this

would have been fine if nobody knew what

they were supposed to be because the

cookies still tasted fine it’s just

there was something down on the inside

of me that said this not what it’s

supposed to look like they’re supposed

to have a certain form and so I have

been like diligent and tweaking the

ingredients in adding flour and changing

the baking soda because I am in

hit on these cookies having the same

form that I know that they are supposed

to have and I realized in the middle of

this tweaking of the recipe that that is

exactly what God has been doing with us

that some of us are operating and

functioning at a new altitude but we’re

using the same ingredients and wondering

why we aren’t getting the results were

supposed to get and I felt like God was

telling me as I was making cookies

because that’s the kind of God he is

that he’s not going to stop touching you

and changing you and shaking up your

life until you return to the form of who

he knew you were when he formed you in

your mother’s womb and I felt like God

was saying it doesn’t matter what you

have achieved up into this point it

doesn’t matter how good the cookies

taste in Denver if they’re not the way

they’re supposed to be then it doesn’t

really matter we can sometimes allow the

fact that we are successful at a certain

season make us stop pressing the way

that we’re supposed to but God said I

will strip friendships away I will

change relationships I will change your

city I will change your location I will

do whatever it takes to get you back to

that form if I had a subject for today’s

message it would be taking form you’re

taking form and it feels awkward and

you’re not thinking the way that you

used to think and you’re wondering am i

offer or a my own in a way that I never

thought I could be on am I connected or

am i disconnected and God said you’re

taking form you’re taking form and so to

start the message I want to speak from

second samuel 7 and what i really want

to talk about are things that you can

expect to happen when you’re taking form

because if nobody tells you then you

will be in this awkward

season where you aren’t necessarily

feeling like yourself in and your

situation has changed but you’re not

exactly losing like I am I in the right

room you know when you’re losing this

doesn’t really feel like losing it feels

like new I’m

I’m not winning I’m not confident the

way that I was but I’m not exactly

losing I feel like like I’m taking form

like I’m actually asserting myself in a

way that I never thought that I could

assert myself before I feel like I am

manifesting everything that God placed

down on the inside of me and the thing

is I think I’m falling in love with who

God has called me to be I love that

that’s the thing about taking form is

that God begins to reveal to you that

you were thinking too low of yourself

that I’ll put gifts and talents down on

the inside of you that would shock

yourself that she’ll look back over your

life and you’ll be like dang I didn’t

even know that I could do that but

something happened while I started

walking on water and I started believing

differently and little did you know what

was happening was that you were taking

form you were taking form and so I want

to talk about David and at this point in

the text David has taken form to a

certain extent he has gone from being

the shepherd boy and now he’s King he’s

had a tumultuous relationship with saw

yet that didn’t take away the crown and

he’s finally she’s finally king he’s

living in the kingdom he’s defeated

Goliath like he’s winning

and so he’s resting in his palace and it

says now it came to pass when the king

was dwelling in his house and the Lord

had given him rest from all of his

enemies man can we just pause there for

a second rest from all of his enemies as

I was praying I was asking God like man

what does it feel like to have rest from

all of your enemies you know like I love

a good hater certainly you know like

y’all haters gonna be yo congratulating

when God gets finished with you your

haters are gonna be your footstool come

on somebody and then we dance all over

the church but I was just thinking or I

danced all over the church I don’t know

how y’all worship maybe it’s just me

okay

but as I was praying I was thinking I

was asking

I’d like to have rest from all of the

enemies what does that mean and God told

me that you have rest from all of your

enemies it’s just that you replaced your

enemies with calling I didn’t understand

that let’s go deeper Lord because that’s

how I talked to him and I felt like God

was saying that some people don’t really

want rest from their enemies because

their enemies are distractions to their

destiny and as long as you have an enemy

where you’re trying to control the

narrative of what he or she said about

you then you have no time to focus on

what God has called you to do some

people are praying for rest from their

enemies but they don’t really mean it

you see sometimes we can be so excited

that we have the hater that it becomes

all that we talk about we talk about it

so much that we aren’t even creating the

way that we should create because we are

just so excited that we made it to such

a level that we have an enemy but God

says when you start to have rest from

your enemies it’s not that your enemies

don’t exist any longer you just have

elevated to such a point that you don’t

even care what they’re saying that

you’re not chasing down the stories

anymore because the more energy I’ve

been trying to arrest an enemy the less

time I have to lay hold of my destiny I

don’t care if you are an enemy or a

friend of me if you are against my

destiny then I can’t be connected to you

I need a rest from my enemies and not so

that I can be on cruise control and so

that I can say all my life is so perfect

but so that I can focus my prayer for

you family is that you would get so

consumed with what God has called you to

do on the earth that you have rests from

your enemies that you would become so

consumed with what God is doing in your

life that you cannot even hear the

naysayers anymore I’m sorry but I hope

you lose friends if they’re your enemies

I hope you lose opportunities

enemies because I am so in love with who

God has called you to be that it is most

important to me not that you get to post

about haters but that you get to post

about new books and new movies and new

deals and new relationships and what God

is doing on the inside of your life

rests from your enemies

so David he’s dwelling in this house

he’s got rest from his enemies all

around and so in verse 2 we see that you

know David gets a little bored not bored

but he just is so excited about what God

has done in his life that he says I want

to do something for God and this is what

I look this is tithes and offering this

is reciprocity he has established who

David is on the earth he is a king he’s

defeated Goliath but now David is not

content to just sit in the house and

just soak up all of the glory he says I

want to do something for God and that’s

when you know you are in relationship

with God when your prayer request

changed from God give me give me give me

and instead God what can I do for your

kingdom looking I do on the earth how

can I change what I see in the headlines

that’s when we become Friends of God we

are children of God but when you become

a friend of God you start asking our

crazy questions like I don’t want you to

just bless me for the sake of blessing

me so that I could post and son on

Instagram I want you to bless me until

the criminal justice system is changed I

want you to bless me with influence so

that young girls know how to protect

their worth I want you to bless me with

influence not so that everyone can see

how great I am and how talented I am but

so that they can recognize that you

change lives I want to be blessed so

that I can be a blessing I want to be

blessed so that I can be a blessing I’m

over the selfish generation this selfie

selfie selfie God if you’re gonna do

something in my life let it be so that I

can touch someone else’s life I want to

be your hands and feet on the earth God

what can you do with me what can you do

with this boys what can you do with this

gift that will make the world

better place I’m not praying for someone

else to do it I’m saying God if there’s

anything down on the inside of me that

can shake this world upside down for

your glory Lord don’t do it without me

I’ll write a book if I have to I’ll

preach a sermon if I have to I write

songs if necessary I forgive if I have

to bitterness will have to flee because

I have to do something on this earth I

have to do something on this earth I

have to do it I can’t watch this world

just go down to pieces knowing that you

have called and chosen me and anointed

me to do something crazy if I never see

it in my bank account and I only see it

in change lives that’s enough for me if

I never see it in what I Drive and I

only see it and change lives that’s

enough for me

and the thing is that when we seek the

kingdom on that level all other things

are added to us that’s the peace of

being a believer

that’s the peace of being a friend of

God I don’t know what kind of friends

you’ve had but when you have a friend of

God God says when you cover my back I

got your back I will dispatch angels on

your behalf when you pray I will answer

your prayers miracles will happen

because I know that I can trust you with

the crown I can trust you with the crown

can you be trusted with the crown David

went from being the shepherd boy into

the kingdom he has the crown on his head

at this point he could be on cruise

control but still there was something in

him that said I want to build a house

for the Lord it said that the King said

to Nathan the Prophet see see now I

dwell in a house of cedar I made it but

the Ark of God dwells inside tent

curtains and verse 3 continues it says

then Nathan said to the king go do all

that is in your heart for the Lord is

with you so nathan is the prophet and he

tells them listen I know you want to

build this house go ahead and do it

because your heart is in the right place

you want to do something for the Lord

and verse 4 continues it says but it

happened just so you know whenever you

see a but it happened

there’s going to be a black choice and

the but it happened it doesn’t always

come out in our lives like in those

three words it comes out in a plot twist

up until this point David and Nathan are

having a conversation there are two good

people with good intentions talking

about what they want to do for God

without God good intention see that’s

the crazy thing is that we think that in

order for things to go wrong for in

order for things to not work out that it

takes this evil intention on one side

that it takes this malice but all it

takes is for God to not be in the mix

you can have two perfectly good people

in a relationship trying to do the best

that can but if God is not in it you

will always experience a but it happened

a but it happened a good job opportunity

a great employee but for some reason it

didn’t work out because you have to ask

the question was I talking about what I

wanted to do for God without God in the

conversation that’s a heavy question

because you look at your gifts and your

talents and what you’re good at and you

say you know what I could be the

Christian Nicki Minaj it’s how I had

it’s all I could come up with it’s all I

have can’t sing our rap okay and I could

be the Christian Nicki Minaj this is my

own testimony come on somebody when I

was younger I wanted to be a rapper I

have bars I don’t know if you’ve ever

noticed that but sometimes when the Holy

Ghost can me bars take home it’s a

I don’t have to prove it go on YouTube

there’s a thing you’ve not got bars and

so I said to myself somebody’s heard my

bars a man all you need is to put two or

three or gathered that’s all I needed

I had a plan for my life and I thought

to myself based off of what I see I am

capable of doing this is what I can

offer the Lord and I live this plan for

my life thinking that no I’m never going

to be a speaker I’m never going to be a

preacher

I can’t Pastor those aren’t my gifts and

talents I want to do something for God

but I want to do it on my terms and

everything I tried to do had a but it

happened attached to it I thought it was

going to work but it happened that I

lost the job I thought it was going to

work but it happened that I lost the

relationship there is a but it happen

that you can guarantee what happened to

everything that doesn’t have God’s

fragrance on it and so David and Nathan

they got together and they had this

conversation and it happened that the

night that the word of the Lord came to

Nathan saying go and tell my servant

David thus says the Lord would you build

a house for me to dwell in this isn’t

God like just so excited that that David

wants to build a house and he’s so

honored by it he’s trying to prove a

point and we see that point in verse 6

when it says for I have not dwelt in the

house since the time that I brought the

children of Israel up from Egypt even to

this day but have moved about in a tent

and in a tabernacle this was so powerful

to me because at the time that David

feels like I’m on cruise control and

I’ve come to a point in my life where I

want to do something for God God says

I’m not finished doing something in you

just because you have the crown just

because you’ve reached a certain level

of success does not mean that you have

become everything that I want for you to

become just because I could make the

cookies in Denver and they tasted good

didn’t mean that the cookies were at

their highest potential don’t let the

fact that you have a crown make you

forget that God isn’t finished with you

and so I realized as I was reading in

this text that there was something

significant about the tent and the

tabernacle David wanted to build a house

he wanted to move a structure that was

unmovable to honor God and his heart was

in the right place but he failed to

realize that God was the most powerful

when he lived in a tent and in a

tabernacle in this temporary dwelling

place that’s when God was changing the

hearts of the people of Israel that’s

when he was making a way for King Deva

for King David it’s when he was in a

tent and a tabernacle a tent in the

tabernacle this temporary place and I

said God why is it that you can move in

this temporary place but you wouldn’t

let David build something that was

worthy of your honor and he God told me

that it’s because I didn’t need him to

build something for me I was building

something down on the inside of him and

I needed to stay in a tent and in a

tabernacle so that he would realize that

I can move when he moves what does that

mean that means that God was with David

when he was a shepherd boy because he

was in a tent in a tabernacle you see

what happens is that so many of us

decide that when we’ve reached a certain

level that we’re going to build a

monument to God and mark the spot where

he blessed us but God says if you limit

me and confine me to the place where you

met me you will forget that I have been

there all along that means that I was in

a tent and in a tabernacle when your car

was being repossessed I was in a tent in

a tabernacle when your father wasn’t

there I was in the tent and I am the god

of the tent in the tabernacle so that

when life starts twisting and turning

you’ll know that you’re never by

yourself I don’t need a house where I

have to make people come to me you are

the tent and tabernacle of God oh my god

it just hit me this is a room of

it’s in Tabernacles when you go into

those rooms when you go into those

meetings they may never come into one

Church but because they’ve had an

encounter with you they’ve had an

encounter with the ten and the

tabernacle of God I may not look like

what I’ve been through but I promise you

I feel the anointing of God anywhere I

go because I know that he is the god of

my tent and my tabernacle God is raising

up some people in this generation who

recognize that they can be the tent and

the tabernacle David wanted to build a

church he wanted to build a dwelling

place for the Lord and God said you

can’t build a dwelling place for me

because you don’t know what I’m doing

this was just the beginning David had

the crown but he hadn’t yet fought with

Uriah he hadn’t yet slept with Bathsheba

he hadn’t buried his talent yet David

was still taking form

I said don’t limit me to what I do just

because you got one win under your belt

because I can do exceedingly abundantly

above all that you may ask for thing

don’t limit me right here you’re still

taking form you’re still taking form

that awkwardness that you feel that

wondering that questioning that’s you

taking form that’s God doing something

down on the inside of you that’s him

awakening something you’re still taking

form and what I want to talk about just

three things that you have to keep in

mind when you are taking form when I was

looking at the just taking form concept

I think it’s important and I didn’t give

them this or you guys if you’re going to

take know she’s just got to be fast with

it to take form is to develop into a

distinctive entity to develop into a

distinctive entity it is when God pulls

you out from fitting in with everyone

else and says I need to work on you

differently I need to develop you into a

distinctive entity there’s something

that I have called you to do that no one

else on this earth can do the way that

you do and the only way I can do it is

if you begin to take form that means

that I have to

some things away from you in order for

you to take form that means I have to

change some habits in order for you to

take form you’ve got to speak up a

little bit differently in order for you

to take form over are the days of just

acquiescing and not saying what we mean

to say God is calling us into a season

where we are to activate what we know to

stop getting into rooms and acting like

oh it’s whatever no it’s not whatever I

mean in here for a purpose

there’s no coolant it’s going to be

taken place there are some decisions

there are some things that need to take

place in this earth and because you are

a distinctive entity no one can do it

but you three things the first thing is

be flexible they’re going to put it on

the screen for me so David had to be

flexible because he was he had a plan to

build a house for the Lord right and

Nathan had endorsed that plan but for

some reason Nathan was gonna have to go

back and tell him that the thing that he

thought he was going to do he can’t no

longer do if you were going to perfect

your form in this process you’re going

to have to willing to be flexible what

does that mean that means that you can’t

insist that God moves in your life in a

way that you are familiar with you’re

going to have to be flexible and open to

God doing things the way that he does it

in the way that only he can do it which

means that I am not so married and to my

blessing coming from CAA that I forget

that I can be an independent artist and

still create the kind of content that

changes the world that means I cannot be

so married two things happening the way

it happened for this person or happened

for that person that I use their formula

for my destiny we got to be flexible

we’ve got to be flexible otherwise we’ll

be in being when other people succeed

and wondering when it’s going to be our

turn we’ll start using people as

opportunities instead of seeing how we

can serve what they’re doing and just

believing that because we’re serving

what they’re doing that God is going to

reward our hearts we got to be flexible

number two is wait for confirmation

when God gets ready to do something in

your life he will always send

confirmation you see some people just

came into this room because they wanted

to come to church and other people came

in here because they’re looking for

confirmation because God has said

something to me about Who I am and what

I can become and I just need his

confirmation because I know that with

his confirmation comes acceleration I

know that when God begins to confirm

things that even when insecurities and

fears start raging up against me that I

have a confirmation to fight them with I

don’t know who this word is for but God

wants me to tell you that this is your

confirmation that I am NOT a man that I

should lie that thing that I place down

on the inside of you is going to come to

pass you’ve been waiting for

confirmation here it is write the book

start the business do the Builder it’s

time for you to take that confirmation

and start waging war against anything

that stands in your way what does that

mean that means even when I lose a job

it’s all right because I got

confirmation that what God promised me

is going to come to pass I don’t fight

with normal weapons I don’t fight with

words and pettiness now I fight with my

confirmation I have depression that you

can’t have my money because I have

confirmation that I am the righteousness

of God I don’t say I don’t let anxiety

just run rampant in my mind because I

have confirmation God wants to give you

confirmation if David would have just

started building the house he would have

started putting work in there’s

something that didn’t have God’s breath

on it but because he waited for

confirmation and Nathan came back and

told him scratch that God wants to

continue building you he didn’t waste

energy on efforts that didn’t have God’s

breath on them so many times we don’t

want to wait on confirmation because at

the moment we get the idea we want to

move on it because we think we’re going

to be left behind but when God wants you

when he purposes for you to do something

in this earth he will send confirmation

and acceleration you’ll never lose time

waiting on God to confirm it I’m going

to say that one more time because we

live in this society where if you don’t

get it

get it and you don’t do something then

you’re losing but I’m telling you that

when God gets ready to do something that

there will be people who have been in

the game for 20 years well you will

bypass because you have confirmation and

acceleration because you have

confirmation things that you should have

you would have had to have experienced

for 10 years it’ll take you 10 months to

do because God breathed on it when you

wait on comfort those that wait upon the

Lord when you wait on a confirmation you

might as well get your wings ready to

soar because I know when God sends the

wind of my confirmation that I’m going

to take off like never before I don’t

want to do anything that doesn’t have

God’s confirmation on it you’re cute I

love you you seem like a wonderful

person but if God doesn’t tell me that

you’re supposed to be in my life I’m

gonna have to let you go because

everything I do I do a confirmation this

is a wonderful opportunity it looks like

a lot of money but if God’s confirmation

is a moment then I’m sorry I don’t want

it because I only waste energy on things

that have confirmation I need

confirmation in my life I wish you would

start pressing into God and start saying

God confirm it if you want me to do it

confirm it if you want me to say it

confirm it send me a word that lets me

know that you are in the mix because I

already tried to do things on my own I

already tried to do things without

confirmation I’m tired of that and if it

means I just have to sit here and look

stagnant while everyone else passes me

by it’s okay because when confirmation

comes so do my wings when confirmations

come so there’s my win when confirmation

comes people start talking about me in

business rooms where they shouldn’t even

know my name

because God has confirmed it doors start

clinging open because God has confirmed

that people start giving me things they

shouldn’t even know me but because I

have confirmation

I’m waiting on confirmation

I’m waiting on confirmation it seems

like a good idea but until he confirms

it I can’t move I need confirmation

that’s all when Pastor and I first

started dating I was like you seem like

a great person honestly truly you do

honestly I love you but I need

confirmation I need to know that God is

doing this and when I tell you we

received confirmation after confirmation

after confirmation and let me tell you

why you need confirmation because just

like David in this text he hadn’t yet

figured out that he was going to betray

his best friend and then he was going to

have a situation with Bathsheba life is

going to get so tough and so hard that’s

the only thing you can fight with is

that confirmation when you move out to

this city because you had confirmation

and then you get out of here and you

don’t have nothing to work with that

confirmation is what keeps you going the

next day that confirmation that no I

know God told me to be here may not be

working out the way that I thought I

would but I know I’m no god I prayed

about it I gave it to the Lord and he

gave me confirmation sometimes the only

thing you’ll be able to fight with this

confirmation my father tells this story

about living in this house in West

Virginia cos you know when I was born we

were on food stamps and God is radically

changed our lives but my dad said that

he would walk into this house that is

it’s called a shotgun house or y’all

country enough to know what a shotgun

house is

some of y’all not country enough shotgun

go right through the house if you were

to utilize weaponry of that nature I’m

not saying my father has a shotgun

moving on here’s the thing he said that

he would wake up every morning and tell

that house you lying on me can you

imagine the power of that he had a

confirmation down on the inside of him

that even when his outside didn’t look

like what God called him to do that he

would wake up everyday and say you’re

lying to me it’s somebody who needs a

loved one to their bank account say you

lying to me it’s somebody who needs a

call their management say you lying to

me because there’s a confirmation

connected to everything I do and I know

that God wouldn’t get me this far and

leave me I don’t care what I feel like

right now depression you’re lying on me

the question you cannot have anxiety

it’s not gonna work

friendships are lost them there’s

nothing wrong with me there’s just a

confirmation hanging over my life and

you were lying on me no weapon formed

against me will prosper I’m not going to

get out here and lose I’m not gonna lose

my mind I’m not gonna get out of here

and embarrass myself you lying on me you

lying on me I’m talking about arresting

thoughts and bringing them into

obedience you’re lying on me I’m not

just gonna go out like that you you lied

on me because God said something to me

and I know when God says something to me

so I gotta be flexible because I’m not

gonna lie it’s not working out the way I

thought it would I gotta be flexible but

I know that there’s a confirmation

connected to it wait for confirmation

and number three just three things don’t

get comfortable

don’t get comfortable David has the

crown he has every right to be

comfortable at this point because

everything that God told him had been

manifested little did he know that that

was only one level of the manifestation

but in order for manifestation to

continue you have to be willing to enter

into a new state

a vulnerability you cannot afford to get

comfortable as I was writing my notes I

literally wrote when you’ve been through

a lot you can find yourself waiting to

get to a place of peace and stability

the truth is that when you begin to

follow God’s plan for your life you may

end up in a tent in a tabernacle

forever it’s him I know nobody like that

y’all didn’t shout over that y’all want

me to read it again did y’all hear it or

y’all just y’all just wasn’t excited

about that Wow

it’s true though when we were growing up

there was this idea that we were going

to make it to a certain level and there

was going to be a white picket fence and

and we would finally be on cruise

control and everything would be fine

but I’m telling you from the high end to

the low end that when you do what God

has called you to do that you are

committing to walking on water in every

season of your life so don’t get too

comfortable

David was that such a peculiar place in

this story because though he had

manifested the crown there was still

struggle waiting for him sometimes God

gives you the crown before you recognize

the cost of the crown sometimes he gives

you the crown before you recognize the

cost David’s character would change

dramatically he would have he would be

presented with opportunities that he

would have never had to have been faced

with if he would have stayed in the

field with the lamb but for some reason

when God put this crown on his head it

unleashed a whole new dimension to him

there are some of you who are praying to

get into rooms that you don’t even

realize the cost of getting into them

not just the level of success I’m

talking about the level of character you

have to have to be in these rooms I’m

talking about the things you have to say

no to in order to get into these rooms

I’m talking about the cost of the crown

and so at this season right now God is

helping you to take form on the level

that you’re at so that when you get to

where he’s called you to be that you

will have the strength to keep the crown

on your head even when it comes at a

cost

David thought that he was just going to

be king but the reality is that God was

purposing for the Messiah to come

through his bloodline but he had no idea

how big that was going to be but what he

did know is that he was committed to

hearing and listening to God every step

of the way when we get into this

position

we say I gotta take form by any means

necessary

I can’t stay the way that I’ve been I

gotta change I’ve gotta unlock another

dimension of Who I am I got a person to

the things of God differently you have

to know that you are taking form I was

preaching at the nine o’clock service

and I feel like God wanted us all to

know and it just hit me at that service

that there are some people who have been

coming to church and they’ve been

logging under YouTube and they’ve been

receiving this word after word after

word and they’re wondering if they’ve

made it to that other side that other

side where you don’t back to slide into

who you used to be where you don’t go

back where you are resisting the

gravitational pull and I felt it at the

nine o’clock service and I feel it

deeply here for this 11:00 a.m. service

I want you to know that you have

resisted the gravitational pull of your

past and that you are not going back to

who you used to be what am I saying

I’m saying that you have taken form I’m

saying that gone are the days where you

were insecure and broken and unsure of

yourself

stop penalizing yourself where our

person you used to be and start falling

in love with who God has called you to

be you have been receiving word after

word after word and I’m telling you that

that word has taken root and produced

fruit in your life you’ve made it to

that other side I’m not saying that

you’ve arrived I’m just saying that

you’ve made it to that other side that

devil that you defeated that devil that

you’re chasing that you’re running from

that devil has lost his grasp on you

that addiction that you outran as well

as his grasp on you that toxic

relationship that you thought you’d

never get out of is lost this hold of

you I’m telling you that you’re stronger

because of what you went through I’m

telling you that you’re not going to

repeat that thing over and over and over

again in your life because you have

taken form and when you have taken form

there is a confidence that ought to come

to you that I’m never going to go back

to being that old shape I know you were

in love with some broken girl but I’m

telling you that I’ve warmed up I manned

up I leveled up on you I’m sorry I took

form I didn’t change I just decided to

start believing that I was everything

that God has called me to be I’m taking

form do not be surprised when you start

taking form and your circle starts

changing because in order for you to

take form it’s got to push some things

out of the way and it’s going to draw

some things closer to you so this is

honestly it’s really a season where you

have to be sensitive to what God is

doing and how he’s going to do it that

waiting for confirmation is real because

you are in the season where your

decisions have weight they have weight

these are destiny decisions everything

is a destiny decision and when you look

at things through that lens how does

this connect to what God has called me

to be then there’s a certain peace that

you can have we’re not living randomly

family that’s not our thing we don’t

live randomly and you may have to serve

notice on some people who you used to

live randomly with that I don’t just do

random things I’m starting to ask

questions like but why are we doing that

and who are we going to become as a

result of doing it why am i listening to

this and Who am I going to become as a

result to listening to it I need to know

that this thing is building me up and

not tearing down what God is doing in my

life because God is on the move and I

got to move when he moves I don’t want

to build a shrine to where I used to

meet him and miss the fact that he’s

moving in a tent and a tabernacle I have

to understand how I can stay connected

to him would you come play as I prepare

to close I feel like that God has been

shifting and shaking up things in our

world and as a result of this shifting

and shaking it’s made a lot of us

uncertain uncertain of who we are

uncertain of what our gifts are

uncertain of who we can become and God

said I only needed you to become

uncertain

so that you could be insecure but so

that you could be a blank canvas again

because when you become a blank canvas

again then I can show you the next level

of what I’ve called you to do don’t be

so married to your idea of where you’re

going to land that you miss that I still

have Heights for you to soar there’s

still something for you to accomplish

and don’t let temporary success blind

you from that work you’re still taking

form and taking form is supposed to make

you feel uncertain it’s supposed to make

you feel insecure it’s supposed to make

you press into God on a whole nother

level because you’re not sure what

tomorrow holds but you know who holds

tomorrow so in order for me to take form

I gotta stay connected to him

I gotta understand what he’s doing in

this season and I can only do that when

I am engulfed constantly in his presence

would you all stand with me as I prepare

to close

perhaps as I’ve been speaking you’ve

said man that’s it that’s exactly what I

didn’t do

maybe there’s somebody in this room who

didn’t wait for confirmation and they

ended up in situations and relationships

and opportunities that cost them and you

want to have the kind of patience that

allows you to wait for God’s

confirmation would you meet me at this

altar I didn’t wait for confirmation I

moved so fast that I missed out on what

I thought God wanted me to do but I want

to do it differently this time

maybe as I’ve been speaking you’ve been

in this awkward staging and you’ve been

battling thoughts thoughts that you were

losing thoughts that you were wrong not

recognizing that you were really taking

form not recognizing that God had

elevated you see the thing about just

the analogy with the cookies is that I

didn’t realize that the fact that I was

on another level meant that I had to

change the way that I functioned maybe

you’ve been on another level and at

first you were so excited about getting

on the level but you can’t be the same

person you once we’re you can’t be as

open as you were before you can’t trust

everybody the way that you did and so

now you’re saying god I need you to show

me how to function at this altitude you

got me here and I’m excited but I’m not

sure that I can stay here because things

aren’t working out the way that I

thought they would God said I’ve just

been waiting on you to partner with me

so that I can show you the exact

ingredients you need to win on this

level maybe you’re hearing as I’ve been

speaking you you’re like I’m not I don’t

really do the church thing I’m not

religious you know a friend brought me

but as you were speaking something was

awakened down on the inside of me I want

to invite you down to that you can

receive

what we know to be true and that is that

as we looks back over our lives that

there were moments where we felt the

most lost but we recognized that we were

really just taking form I love this

because as I was studying I was thinking

about just my own life and how if God

didn’t move in a tent in a tabernacle

that he would have never been able to

reach the 13 year old girl who was

pregnant he would have never been able

to reach that woman who was abused he

would have never been able to reach me

if he didn’t move at it in a tent in a

tabernacle what am I saying I’m saying

that God will meet you right where you

are that’s what that means the fact that

he will be and it’s him in a tabernacle

means that I need the ability to meet

people right where they are there are

some people who will never come in here

but because you are his tent in his

tabernacle they will have an encounter

with God and that thing is real God

wants for us to be free he wants for us

to be free free and the knowledge of who

he’s called us to be free to function

with confidence in rooms where we would

have shrunk in the past but that only

comes with the knowledge of recognizing

that we’re taking form and that we’re

not forming and creating this thing on

our own but that God has gone ahead of

us and he’s made the crooked paths

straight that his hand is over our lives

so even when things aren’t working out

the way that we think that they should

that they’re going exactly the way he

wanted them to because we’re in his hand

and we are taking form that’s what we’ve

been doing in this season and that’s

what we are going to continue to do

would you lift your hands as I begin to

pray we lift our hands as a sign of

surrender

we lift our hands because it’s saying

God here we are mold me change me

transform me I surrender I surrender

everything that doesn’t have your name

on it

I surrender everything that’s hurting me

but makes me feel good I surrender

everything that makes me feel insecure I

surrender right now in the presence of

God I feel the Spirit of God hovering in

this room this is our moment of

surrender Heavenly Father I thank you

for my brothers and sisters these your

sons and daughters represented at this

altar I thank you that in this season

have changed that you are really

building them up in ways that can’t even

see I think you got that strength is

coming to them I think you got that

clarity is coming to them they think

they’re confused but really they’re just

getting their minds clear they think

they’ve lost their strength but really

you’re just building them up god I thank

you for what you’re doing in this season

in their life that they are drawing

closer to you and as they draw closer to

you the real version of who they are are

being manifest and so God we ask that

you would open our hearts to change that

you would make us just make us flexible

Oh God that we may become all that you

have called us to be so that we can do

supernatural things in this earth god I

rebuke the spirit of heaviness that

could be hovering oh god i review

depression that could be making them

think that they’re too far gone and that

they’ve lost all i rebuke it right now

in the name of jesus and i declare a

victory over their lives Oh God victory

over everything that they touched Oh God

that they would come to recognize that

in you that cannot lose and you that

cannot lose with you that they can do

all things Oh God that the impossible is

possible because greater is you working

on the inside of them than anything that

could ever be outside of them God

strengthened omocha strengthened em Oh

God in your spirit in your knowledge let

there be an increase in overflow Oh God

may weapons that are being formed right

now drop in the name of Jesus Oh God may

you begin to despair aside and declare

victory over their lives in the name of

Jesus I rebuke dry bones and I say you

must live Oh God

I rebuke depression you must plead I

repeat generational curses

I rebuke comparison right now in the

name of Jesus I rebuke comparison my

journey is not the next person’s journey

so that I act that you would give me the

confidence to be authentic for real to

be genuine for real to recognize that I

don’t have to win the way that everyone

else went to win but because you have

sent me a partner anointed and appointed

me that there are only things that I can

do in this earth God awaken their divine

identity in this earth and may they

function in it with confidence and with

the ability knowing that you’ve already

set them apart in Jesus name
