it through the battle we went through
was with divine help and when God speaks
of the wife he says she is serve your
divine help she’s in
that’s why the Bible said whoever finds
a wife or divine help finds favor with
the lower you’re going to win or lose
your battles depending on whether or not
you’ve got some divine help in your
corner you’ve got some divine help
praying for you when you go to your job
you’ve got some divine help in that wife
helping you raise those children you’ve
got some divine help in that life
building that career and that business
God said without her the divine help
that you need will not be there you
better cherish her you better appreciate
her you better love her because she is
your either she’ll ease your burdens
women are multipliers women are
incubators women increase anything you
give them if a man gives a woman a seed
she’ll incubate it she’ll multiply it
she’ll increase it and nine months later
she’ll give him back a baby you give a
woman your your bachelor’s pad after you
get married she wink you bait it
multiply it increase it you get
furniture you get curtains you get a
house it’ll look you know it won’t look
like a battle zone from the Battle of
Armageddon it will look like something
got ahold and she’ll multiply it and
give it back to you you give a woman
trouble she’ll incubate it multiply it
press down shaken together and running
over shall she give it back to you but
don’t you ever forget she’s a multiplier
she’s your divine help look at your wife
and say you are my divine help some
women fight depression because their
husbands are successful they build huge
corporations or they really win in
whatever field they’re in
succeed and they’re made almost to feel
unimportant and unnecessary and just
everybody’s about I’ll speak in my own
life everybody you know they talk about
whatever little success I’ve had they’ll
they almost can ignore your family your
wife they always are behind the things
the truth is without my divine help this
ministry wouldn’t be here I wouldn’t be
holding a microphone we better never
forget that it’s a lie you are important
you do matter you can make a difference
you’re the difference of whether he wins
or loses your husband needs divine help
in a human package except the Lord build
the house they that labor labor in vain
except the Lord builds your home you’re
laboring in vain and God said my the way
i’ma build it is I’m gonna give you
divine help and you better treat her
right because she’s your anointing she’s
your favorite how you treat her will
determine how I listen to your prayers
that’s an actual scripture in the Bible
she’s your divine help and it when you
get to thinking that you’re really
something and you’re ignoring her
belittling her competing and acting as
though you’ve done it don’t you ever
forget she is your divine help and
unless the Lord builds the house we’re
striving together we’re praying together
we’re dreaming together we’re doing the
Lord’s will together
we’re raising kids together we’re
building a house together we’re doing
life together
I care for marriages because God cares
for marriages and he believes that it’s
the greatest way to do life in
relationship he said in the beginning
when Adam was alone it’s not good for
man to be alone so marriage is God’s
idea and the question is is it still a
good idea in the 21st century and that’s

fold the clothes I mean that’s like an
aphrodisiac to a woman when she sees you
folding the clothes you know if you’re
like us to the women you know I just
told the men that approach matters to
the women I would say if you’re married
just approaches we don’t care how you do
it we could but we do want to know that
you want us out of desire not duty
when’s the last time you get on him
when’s the last time you sent him a text
and said you better get home now he’ll
hurt himself he’ll hit but spice it up a
little bit spice it up a little bit do
something a little different go out and
reconnect go off on a weekend yeah we
don’t have that money you wait it’s
cheaper than a divorce go try it go try
it do something don’t just let the
fizzle go and your marriage in your code
and you don’t touch each other and you
don’t sleep in the same room hardly and
you know and after while you get old I
know everything changes different
seasons in life as you get older the
twin phones become the twin falls and
and and stuff on the men just don’t work
like it used to work all of that you
have to work the seasons you have to
work through all of that but stay
connected stay connected
you’re a garden locked up a spring
enclosed if you think something good say
it if you think something good do it if
you see something that you know that
it’s not the amount or anything it’s
just the fact that you thought of her
that you thought of him it goes both
ways if you think something good say it
I love you because do it I you see
something a flower anything do it get it
for you did when you were dating but we
quit and we lose the sizzle and the

closing in the message Bible first
Corinthians 7 I want you to listen to

important the marriage bed must be a
place of mutuality the husband’s seeking
to satisfy his wife the wife seeking to
satisfy her husband
marriage is not a place to stand up for
your rights
marriage is a decision to serve the
other whether in bed or out abstaining
from sex is permissible for a period of
time if you both agree to it and if it’s
for the purposes of prayer and fasting
or ain’t much of that going on let’s be
honest but only for such times then come
back together again Satan has an
ingenious way of tempting us when we
least expect it what he’s saying is you
let the enemy into your relationship and
porn comes in and it’s not that’s not
that’s not on her sir you can’t say well
if she would be the woman she’s posed to
be to me then I wouldn’t have no no no
no you need to be the man that God’s
called you to be regardless if y’all
getting along or not getting along
never is that right never is that an
excuse this is serious stuff
it destroys homes and families and
marriages and it’s not easy to deal with
these kinds of topics but it’s so needed
the thief comes to kill steal and
destroy but I’ve come that you might
have life and I want to close with this
quick illustration I want them to bring
out a little table and I want to say the
answer to it all the answer to it all is
Matthew chapter 6 verse 33 seek first
the kingdom of God and all of these
things will be added unto you so you
have a home a marriage a person a family
and and these golf balls represent the
big things in life the first thing seek
first the kingdom of God prayer church
serving God honoring God tithing giving
church attendance prayer praying
together devotions in the home loving
God putting God first family we are a
christ honoring family and what’s
amazing is if you would put God first if
you will put God first
he will always make sure there’s room
for all the other lesser stuff like joy
and vacations and happiness and
ballgames and this and that and all the
things you put God first and he will
always add unto you there’s always room
good measure pressed down shaken
together
he adds because you got it right you’re
doing it right and he just keeps adding
unto you because you saw first the
kingdom of God but watch this what if I
feel my life with lesser things what if
all I do is I’m all Church doesn’t
really matter but this does that does
this does we’re running here we’re
running there we’re not showing our
family to priority of God

doing this guess what when it comes time
for the spiritual things that holds your
family together that hold a marriage the
long haul my family’s falling apart my
marriage is falling apart my home is
falling apart pastor help help help help
help and I will all I can but you got it
mixed up this stuff will not last its
seek first the kingdom of God and he’ll
pour in the rest he’ll have the rest
your single seed first the kingdom of
God he’ll add to you the right mate if
you’ll be faithful to him I have two

I think will help people one is the role
of the wife and one chapter is about the
role of the husband and it’s so
important to understand that God’s Word

and when we understand our role as a
husband and as a father and as a man as

man doesn’t mean that don’t act like a
woman don’t act like an animal don’t act
like a boy be a man take responsibility
what does that mean well that means that
means this number one three out of four
of the the descriptions of what it means
to act like a man is military terms
number one he says be watchful now look
at me all you men please and listen be
watchful means to keep your eyes open to
pay attention it means and it has to do
with old testament cities that were
fortified and the only way that the
people inside the city could rest in
peace at night is they knew they had
Watchmen on the walls who were looking
out for any impending danger trying to
get in and destroy their homes and
families
God says I’ve called you gentlemen this
is not playtime now I’m telling you I’m
a pastor been married for 29 years and
Charisse and I will celebrate our 30th
year anniversary this year but I’m going
to tell you something listen to me hold
on just a moment there has never been a
time in all of my life that I have seen
families under a duress and attack and
distress and trouble I have felt my own
self the weight of God as a father of
five children two grandchildren the
complexities of family the hurts of
family at times the brokenness of family
was riding in my car the other day and I
know it was the devil but I just heard a
voice that just said just keep writing
so many things with children so many
things with family you just feel like
God I can’t take it I don’t know what to
do this is ridiculous how can this
happen to my family in my family how can
these things be going on but here’s what
the Lord told me to tell you be watchful
get up on the wall pay attention to your
family pay attention to the media pay
attention to the internet be Watchmen go
up in their rooms and they can have
privacy when they pay rent but since
they don’t pay rent there’s no thing
called privacy I’ll go on your computer
there are no codes on phone you go in
and you are a watchman and it’s not your
life’s responsibility it’s your
responsibility you’ve got to be a
watchman for your house what kind of
music is on there is only is in there
beats what are they listening to what
kind of language are they listening to
be Watchmen the Bible says of Uihlein
the Old Testament that he raised two
sons and I cannot believe the word and I
looked it up again it said that they
were
worthless sons how would you like for
the Bible to say concerning your
children you raised them and they were
worthless sons and the Bible tells why
it says of Eli the preacher the high
priest because he didn’t restrain them
the word restrained means no measured
efforts on his part to even resist the
wickedness of his children Wow
dad mom be Watchmen and when your kids
want to bring stuff in you can’t if you
don’t restrain them if there’s no
measured effort on your part to resist
evil it’s coming and the Bible said they
were blaspheming God what I’m saying to
you is you have to be Watchmen over your
family in your house you can’t always be
best friends with your children and they
need dance they need men they make boys
follow men and if men get it right if
men get it right boys are going to
follow get off your phone get off your
couch get you get out of your office be
watchful Africa man secondly are you
watching secondly stand firm in the pain
another translation the message Bible
says hold tight to your convictions what
you believe about the Word of God what
you believe about marriage what you
believe in other words don’t let your
theology gravitate toward toward your
behavior don’t start changing your
theology because you have let down the
standards and you’ve lost your
convictions but let the Word of God
stand firm on your faith let the Word of
God be that rock-solid thing in a
shifting culture that brings you and
calls you back to repentance and calls
you back to separation and calls you
back to holiness and calls you back to
purity and calls you back to a walk with
God
lastly let all that you do be done in
love for me as the father this is huge
because I’m gonna tell you what will
happen to your family sooner or later
and those of you got young children you
don’t you think this will never be your
lot but just listen there’s a scripture
that says the wrath of man does not
produce the righteousness of God that
simply means that when your children or
your family is acting in a way that you
totally disagree with and dishonours God
the wrath of man will not in my family
produce the righteousness of God if I
scream if I get angry and oh this is
where the enemy the accuser will attack
you because when it’s boy/girl but the
wrath of man mom screaming dad screaming
it’s not going to produce righteousness
what’s going to produce righteousness
the message Bible says of that let all
that you do be done unless the message
Bible says love without stopping love
without stopping love without stopping
you break in my heart but love without
stopping I’ve raised two different but
love without stopping oh my god you
don’t understand what you’re doing
you’re making terrible choices but love
without stopping
screaming ranting putting our hands for
sheet rock fussing cussing it’s not
going to produce the righteousness of
God what will produce the righteousness
of God love without stopping and I say
it to every marriage every woman every
man you may not like everything your
husband is doing you don’t I’m sure you
don’t like everything your wife is good
but God’s Word to you
love without speed we’re hearing a lot
about the role of marriage and the
definition of marriage and that’s why I
felt like I needed to write this book

let the world or the world’s culture
define what marriage is and it’s
supposed to be but God’s Word is very
clearly pro marriage God is for our
marriages he he the scripture said in
Malachi two he hates in Malachi three he
hates divorce not that he hates divorce

hates what divorce does to families to
children to generations and so if God
doesn’t want something to happen and we
don’t want it to happen we need to equip
ourselves with the ability to hold our
lives together our marriages and our
families together and so that’s why this
