On Pentecost Sunday 2013, a young man stepped up and prayed for Bishop T.D. Jakes. It was a moment both touching and inspiring as the child prayed for blessings over Bishop Jakes “in Jesus’ name.” Afterward, Bishop T.D. Jakes lays hands on the child and prays for a “special anointing” upon him, that he would be “crowned with honor and glory” for the rest of his life because he had “the courage to step out and speak the Word.”

because he had the courage to to step
out to obey you to speak the word and to
declare I pray God a special anointing
be on him all the days of his life I

revelation would run up in his soul that

him the kind of anointing that destroys
