how many uh folks do we have here that

are

that were a part of the healing school

this week i mean oh good

yeah is is the lady that was healed of

cancer she is she here in a wheelchair

is she here we had an extraordinary

story

um in fact i shall read it to you

got

she was diagnosed with ductal

infiltrating

breast cancer stage three february 2017

went through nine chemotherapy

uh unfortunately didn’t shrink the tumor

they performed a mastectomy

took out 20 lymph nodes 10 of which were

tested to be positive with cancer

they gave me 28 sessions of radiotherapy

started me on

some couple medications

i took the medicine for a year this

january started feeling really bad

back pain my doctors decided to do a ct

scan bone scan

14th of february they informed me that i

had bone

uh something on the

on the front of the skull that

metastasized

and then t3 t6 t12 11

14 vertebrae seventh rib right scapula

the doctors decided to give another

medication uh another medication of

injections to try to stop the cancer

from spreading because they’ve been

spreading to the bones

um ten uh shots in the upper back ten

lower back

finished in april of this year 25th woke

up at 3am

excruciating pain 10 out of 10 couldn’t

walk

couldn’t control legs took me to the er

they did an mri

the spine knew bone scan where they

discovered that l2 and l3 vertebrae were

fractured and collapsed they had

basically dissolved

which caused my sciatic nerve to be

herniated

and this is all bad news so far is

rather depressing

bone scan reported many new bone

affected

area the whole spine that affected the

whole spine rib cage partially skull

hips femurs

uh oncologist and orthopedic surgeon

decided to start me on

more medication

pain pain meds every three to four hours

the medical approach lowered the pain to

a five to eight out of ten on a daily

basis

i’ve been taking it for the last three

and a half weeks they stopped the

injections switch

cancer treatments

nothing they could they finally came to

the conclusion there’s nothing they

could do

for her any longer a friend of mine a

friend of hers told her about bethel she

came to the healing rooms

her husband found out the healing rooms

about the healing rooms decided to come

to redding they got here

the husband had to move her through of

course the airports etc through the

wheelchair she couldn’t control her legs

the pain was 7 out of 10 for the first

day and a half of school

on wednesday chris gore asked that

everyone that had a terminal condition

passed to the front

many people prayed for me sent me

declared grace over her many times

the pain lowered to a five she lowered a

dose of

painkillers and then on wednesday the

healing rooms suddenly the pain

was at eight to ten long story short

somebody came to her and said would you

like to dance

she’s missing two two vertebrae the

the pain is in fact i think at one point

she described it at 12 out of 10

you know uh continuous and she got up

and began to dance and had realized that

she had no

she had no pain

she began to run around the room began

to run up and down stairs

she would jump run dance bend hasn’t

taken

any medicine

heal my ears jesus

[Laughter]

she has no pain whatsoever she can run

jump dance

bend and her husband

is a uh cancer doctor and he’s

absolutely shocked

absolutely he’s an oncologist

[Applause]

and they’re absolutely stunned come on

amazing

so we thank you lord god nothing is

impossible with you

nothing is impossible

bless the lord uh anybody we’re going to

go after

terminal conditions we’re going to pray

together right now and uh believe god

for

absolute turnaround reversal

of of conditions anyone with cancer

anyone with als anyone with parkinson’s

anyone with any kind of a terminal

condition

in which there is no solution medically

they’ve tried what they can do

they’re just trying to monitor and help

you through it jesus has a solution

and it’s it’s not death it’s life and

uh so how many uh have uh something of

that nature

you’re ready for your miracle tonight

but you end up high okay we’re gonna

pray for you in a moment all right

we have more reports of lyme’s disease

coming in this week

that has been healed um if there’s

anybody here

who that has lyme’s disease and or you

have a relative or close friend with

lyme’s disease i want you to put your

hand up because we’re going to pray for

you

we’ve been seeing an unusual amount we

had just in a matter of days i think we

had

five cases that were completely healed

one was

38 years 10 last 10 years in bed

almost entirely in bed uh completely

healed and delivered

uh and with that juvenile arthritis

leaving children’s bodies

um just just this wave of healing grace

and we might as well catch the wave so

it’s just the heart of god it’s always

been the heart of god and we’re learning

just to cooperate with him so

anybody with any kind of with lyme’s

disease

any of those kinds of diseases

fibromyalgia

any kind of arthritic condition

especially rheumatoid arthritis

things of that nature put your hands up

because we want to see that thing driven

from you

tonight beautiful all right all right

good tonight’s tonight

tonight is the night

we’re not coming forward for prayer

we’re coming forward for healing

[Applause]

uh anybody here with any kind of head

trauma

[Music]

there there’s at least i think there’s

at least two people here

that have been in some form of an

accident in which you experience head

trauma

and all you can say is it’s affected you

since then it could be

things that are obvious like migraines

etc but it might also be things like

uh very difficult to concentrate or

memory has been

very scattered uh perhaps learning uh we

i remember

praying for a school teacher once that

she could do she could no longer do any

math

any geography anything because of an

accident she had been in she lost all

ability to memorize

and so she had to stop teaching and the

lord literally

in in just moments restored everything

to her

we’ve seen head trauma disfigure

somebody’s face just because

one side of the face would sag uh

eyesight was affected hearing

and we’ve seen the lord just restore

that to where the the mother

looks at her daughter who’s in her 20s

and says you look like you did before

the accident

uh restored just in in literally in

minutes so i believe the lord wants to

heal head trauma

tonight anybody here uh suffer any kind

accident head trauma could be uh injury

in sports

automobile uh anything of that nature

epilepsy we’re going to put that in

there too

we had a gal in ohio over

30 seizures a day with medication

literally walked into the meeting and

felt it leave she asked for prayer so we

prayed for her

but after talking with her it became

very obvious it actually lifted off of

her before we prayed

and we were just kind of just kind of

sealing there are things that we need to

expect

in the manifest presence of jesus

because the things that we just talked

about that i just outlined for you he do

not exist in heaven

and they don’t exist in heaven because

his presence has preeminence there

his presence is not an addition there

god is the person of heaven there’s

nothing in heaven that is separate from

him

so there’s nothing there that doesn’t

exist in him

that’s a good point bill that’s a good

point just keep pressing in here

all right so we’re gonna go for that how

many uh uh any learning disorders we’ve

seen as many as 16

cases dyslexia in one night yield yep

all right several others all right all

right good

all of you that raised your hands uh

stan

uh yeah let’s yeah

um come up and give do you have an

another report on uh

autism yeah

i i do i i want to do that the second

wave

yeah the second wave because it’ll it’ll

be too many we want to pray in proxy for

people

because we’ve had an unusual release of

anointing i don’t know how to explain it

i’ve never seen it in the numbers and

the percentages that we’ve had in the

last year

where people will stand in for somebody

and just simultaneously they will get

healed

not even knowing in some cases they were

being prayed for

uh craziest thing people with

literally crippled get up out of bed

forget their

forget their uh crutches and walk to the

bathroom and in the bathroom realize

they were healed

and not even though they were prayed for

until they looked at their texts later

and saw

it must have happened during the night

so there’s a great annoy you know what

let’s just

throw it in at the same time if you have

a family member

uh or a friend with any of these things

and you’re willing to text them saying

tonight’s your night we prayed for you

then you stand in proxy do you have do

you have something eric

come on up yeah yeah i do yeah

where’s the mic’s over here yeah

yeah you know we might as well go for

autism and stuff again too we we have

just this ongoing wave of miracles

having to do with the brain so this was

a few weeks ago on a sunday night we

pray for bipolar specifically

and i’m going to leave the names out but

someone sent me an email say stood for

their husband

and their son’s dad who had bipolar

and they basically stood in proxy he was

not in the room he was at home

i don’t know where home is and they

stood for the neuro pathways to be

healed and restored

and when they got home let me just read

this part of it

since then he had been like a different

person he’s been present focused

non-resistant to connection

communicating and conversing and the

most consistent

in the in the over nine years wow

wow and then wow

yeah so she was saying this is a

complete miracle he has connected daily

even two or more times a day with me in

these past few days

and that experience has not happened

like this in all these years over nine

years

and then i got an email a couple days

later just giving another report

that he is choosing to stay home connect

with his wife connect with his son

and is present and is fully engaged and

she’s saying this is the full-blown

miracle he had not wanted to connect

with us for over nine years and so she

stood in proxy

and then since then that happened it’s

incredible incredible yeah give thanks

to lord for it’s beautiful

beautiful now

if you have the condition mentioned

bipolar or any of those

or autism dyspraxia it’s another one

we’ve seen healed

any of those and or you have a close

friend or relative

with that stand and we may end up with

everyone in the room standing eventually

but go go ahead and stand because we’re

going to have we’re going to pray for

you

in proxy which means you’re standing in

their place

believing for god to do a miracle in

them and uh

we believe theologically that there’s no

distance in prayer

but it’s very fun to see it happen

practically consistently

and so we’re going to pray all right

those of you that are standing this is

going to be challenging because there’s

so many standing

those of you that are sitting guess what

you’ve just been drafted

you’ve just been drafted into the army

of god you are carrying the anointing to

bring breakthrough

so all of you that are standing put a

hand up keep it there till

somebody comes to you those of you that

are sitting

you may need to lay hands on two people

at once

but go to them find out the situation

and make agreement with them in prayer

now look

around some of you may need to pray for

each other

whose hands are raised because there are

so many people

okay join with somebody next to you if

your hand is up

yeah you guys pray right here pray for

each other yeah just pray for each other

right here

yeah beautiful good

okay we need someone on this gentleman

okay excellent thank you

if nobody came to you then go to a group

that’s already praying

and just say please include me there’s

there’s so many people

wanting prayer so we just asked holy

spirit that you’d come in power

demonstrate your power now to honor the

name of jesus

display now the reality of his

resurrection

we rebuke the spirit of infirmity on the

mind

on the brain loose

people now in jesus name epilepsy

bipolar be gone schizophrenia

be gone in jesus name

spirit of trauma

we cancel your influence over injury

past injuries we declare that healing

word now

in the name of jesus

thank you lord yeah we declare this over

bethel tv family as well the exact same

miracles will be released

in your homes churches workplaces pay

attention to some of the words of

knowledge

because some of you may run into someone

tomorrow in your community with these

conditions

and just understand the lord set you up

to pray for them so we just bless you

encourage you in jesus name

okay go ahead and end your prayer if you

would but stay with him don’t leave

don’t leave the person don’t leave the

person

okay shh just give me your attention

everyone that received prayer if it was

for you

examine yourself in some way you know

how the affliction has affected you

examine yourself in some way

to look for what god has done don’t look

for what he hasn’t done look for what

he’s done

those of you that received prayer for

someone else

now is the time to get your phone up and

text them and say we’re believing god

for your miracle tonight

and just text them all right do it right

now because we’re gonna we’re gonna pray

again in just a moment but act quickly

please

check yourself if uh if there was head

trauma if there was pain

move around in a way that would cause

discomfort dizziness whatever

okay you don’t need to pray again yet

we’re going to do that in a moment

what i want you to do right now is i

want you to examine yourself

don’t wait to feel something only

half the people we pray for about half

actually feel it happen the other half

don’t know it until they examine

themselves

so in faith begin to move do something

that was challenging to do

do that right now and everyone who is at

least

80 percent better i want you to wave

both hands

like this over your head until your arms

cross so that we can see

who you are we got over here just wave

the hands like this

do it for like 15 seconds or so right

over here another one here

okay back there yep

all right now i realized we just stood

in proxy for other people so that

that weighs into the numbers here but i

want you to turn and pray one more time

jesus ministered to a blind man twice

before he could see clearly

we owe it to people to be willing to

pray again so turn to pray again i’ll

give you

15 seconds excuse me 30 seconds or so to

praying

thank you lord

we pray increase of breakthrough

anointing

breakthrough anointing if you’re praying

for somebody with head trauma

lift that steel band that’s on their

head lift it off of them

and declare over them this ends today

yeah just lift it off see this ends

today

i’ve never had you do this before but i

want you just to breathe

over their head literally just to exhale

i know it sounds weird don’t tell anyone

we did this

but we do we just we declare in jesus

name

we just breathe the healing grace of

jesus over you

thank you lord all right you did good

everyone who is able to examine yourself

right now

put faith into an action if there’s any

way you can examine yourself do it right

now

if letters were versed on a page grab a

bible

um if there was uh inability to

concentrate or to do math or any of

those kinds of things

start working out check yourself out

right now check yourself out

now anyone who’s at least 80 percent

better

tonight i want you to wave both your

hands over your head like this

wave them high don’t do this stuff

wave them high to give testimony to

people around you

so that they know what’s happened okay

over here over here over here

over here all right now we give you

those of you that i i know so many of

you stood in proxy for someone else

and that takes time to find out

but encourage them to text you back do

you already have a text

is that right what what come here come

our nine-year-old son uh i’m sorry

no it’s good our nine-year-old son um

was adopted had a head trauma at five

months and has been dealing with stuff

for most of his life

um he’s had miraculous stuff already

happen he had a shunt completely

disappear

on the testimony of the lord that our

pastor in maryland testified something

that

bill tested it was it was really cool

but anyway so as of november his

behavior started going backwards and he

started getting more and more angry and

more violent and he started throwing

things and hurting people

hurting other people and hurting himself

and we’ve kind of been living in a war

zone

and we’ve been praying and fasting and

doing communion and every tool that we

have in our box and finally we ended up

going to the doctor and getting on

medication and he’s only been three days

on this medication so i didn’t expect

miracles by any stretch of the

imagination with medication

so you called out bill literally

everything he’s been dealing with

difficulty with memory learning

difficulties i mean head trauma at five

months old and multiple surgeries

so i texted he’s at home now with our

oldest son who’s a teenager he’s

babysitting them

we’re out for our anniversary but um

happy anniversary date night at church

so anyway bill calls out everything that

jonathan’s dealing with and i text chris

from like

um we’re praying for healing with

jonathan bill literally described as

going through and asked for family

members to stand for them

and he said okay awesome and i said see

if he feels any difference emotions

peace memory etc

and he said he’s and this is jonathan’s

words he says he’s feeling quote really

better

his shunt feels better his two stopped

hurting and his head stopped hurting

yeah that’s fine

that’s fine yeah

that’s so fun you know please let us

know uh

if you get texts like even in the

meeting just come afterwards let us know

uh we we love to celebrate the stuff

that the lord’s doing

and uh everything that he does is worth

celebrating

you want empty wheelchairs celebrate

when a sinus headache leaves

don’t grade the miracle he’s not on

trial we are

people will often say um

you know i just don’t hear his voice but

i i feel his peace

in john 1 verse 14 jesus it says of

jesus

he is the word of god made flesh

any time you sense presence the word is

there

it may not have touched your intellect

but it is touching your spirit man

sometimes we wait for external voices

to affirm confirm or give clear

direction

when the lord is actually revealing

himself to us

i just sense his peace he’s speaking

he’s engaging with you and he’s

imparting

an awareness of who he is and with him

comes

clarity concerning the will of god

sometimes we minister out of the

emotion the emotional response to the

anointing

everything that we do in worship

is filtered through our soul

david said bless the lord o my soul

our mind our will our emotions

the emotional response to god it proves

we’re alive

it’s the response to his person response

to his voice his word

response to a testimony we are

responding to who he is

but that emotion is not the anointing

itself

and sometimes we make the mistake of

when we’re praying for people we sense

this incredible emotion

and don’t realize that we’re not

cooperating with the anointing

we’re cooperating with our response to

the anointing

let me try to illustrate this let’s say

that you had

your rent was due it’s past due you need

a thousand dollars by midnight tonight

and or you’re going to be evicted from

your house

and somebody comes to you tonight and

they give you a thousand dollars

you begin to jump up and down you shout

thank you jesus you give this person a

hug

you run around the sanctuary that’s the

emotional response

to the gift when you go to the landlord

your emotional response won’t pay your

rent

eventually you’ll have to cooperate with

what was given to

you and learn to transfer that to the

landlord

so that the rent is paid the anointing

is a person and we can sit here and

respond to the person which is

legitimate it’s important it’s it shows

we’re alive

when we the joy the the celebration the

raised hands the

laying on our faces all these things

that we do are responses

that filter through will and intellect

and emotion

these are the offerings that we give him

they’re extremely

vital but when it comes to ministering

to somebody

who needs a miracle that emotion

will not change their situation

that’s where the the focus gets turned

back

to the gift that was given to us when

you lay hands on people

you’re not laying hands on them

as a sympathetic gesture

it is not we want to just have that

human touch

that has value but it doesn’t release a

miracle

we actually lay hands on people because

of what is in us

touch voice and prophetic act

releases what is in us into the

environment we’re wanting to change

in john 7 the holy spirit is described

as a river

in us when we lay

hands on people there is actually a

release of

presence when it is a touch in

cooperation with that

gift we’ve been given we’re paying the

rent so to speak

we’re cooperating with a gift we’ve been

given to make sure

this debt is canceled

learning what is in us is not

introspection it is through the

scriptures

we find we sang it tonight i’ve got a

river of life

flowing out of me as i’ve

said many times through the years the

holy spirit is in us

and he wants out he’s in us as a river

not a lake

he’s in us to flow from us to alter the

geography

around us cooperation with him from the

beginning

the father has set his heart to find

those made in his image who would

co-labor with him

it’s that my hand excuse me my hand is

stretched out

in obedience to him which is then

covered by

his hand stretched out that’s what makes

it powerful

it’s the child trying to loosen uh

a nut on a bolt and it’s just too hard

and dad’s hand goes over the top of the

hand of the child

and suddenly that nut that bolt gets

loosened

the point is is our obedience the

co-laboring

is what attracts him into the

environment to display who he

the resurrected christ the spirit that

raised jesus from the dead

dwells in us and he looks for

opportunities to flow through us so

touch we don’t lay hands on people

simply because we want to massage their

neck

or just let them know i’m here for you

that that has value i i

i i will do that all the time just i’m

i’m with you

but when we’re releasing kingdom touch

is literally to release

eternity into time it’s it’s to take

the impossible breaking presence

that is in me release into that

situation

we see it in so many different settings

throughout scripture

we see them line the streets

with sick people when peter walked by

forgive me for repeat but i need to set

the stage for where i want to take you

we we see the shadow touching there’s no

substance to a shadow

your shadow will always release whatever

overshadows you

whatever you have set your affection

upon will affect the environment that

you invade

if that affection that attention of the

heart

is on worry fear etc then i will carry

anxiousness

into any environment that i go

fear is misplaced worship

fear is is actually the enemy touching

the strings of our heart that were

designed

to express affection and trust to him

and they are now removed from him

towards circumstances

that are so extremely inferior to him

that it’s dishonored it’s not a reason

for shame but it is a reason for

repentance

to realize that when i embrace anxiety

and fear what i’ve done

is i have used the tool god gave me for

worship and i’ve put my affection

on the inferior

affection sounds like it’s probably the

wrong word to use

because affection is you know we look at

a child and our affection is turned up

on towards this child we just want to

hug and we find ourselves making faces

at this little infant that we wouldn’t

make to another

human being on the earth because that

affection is stirred up and

and there’s that connection where i’m

with my wife and sitting here you know

we’ll watch a

tv show together and uh you know four or

five times in the evening

i’ll just turn to her and just say honey

i love you i love you so much

and just there’s that burning affection

and it just

it needs to be expressed it’s not that

kind of affection

it’s

you can tell what i value by what i

think about

if a problem has captured my

attention and has taken me

into fear and anxiety

then it is misplaced worship

how many uh i’ve asked you this question

before so

how many of you have had something

trouble you so much you just kept you

awake at night it was just hard to go to

sleep

you know you know in my hands legs are

raised

so we know that we know how to meditate

we just have to shift what we set our

heart

on what we meditate on

god’s economy is transferred

um his currency

is word and presence which are two sides

of the same coin

he spoke everything into being that is

in existence with one exception he

didn’t speak man into being

he fashioned man of what he spoke into

being

sometimes he likes to work with what’s

already there

loaves and fishes could have created new

food

but he wanted to co-labor he would much

rather co-labor with what he has made

than to start over

he easily could have manifested himself

to marry the virgin he was about to bear

the

christ child and explained to her what

was about to happen

but instead he sended gabriel the

messenger angel

because god actually delights in what he

has made

operating in its design he is glorified

by every facet of his creation

functioning

in their design

fear keeps us from functioning in our

design

and the lord looks to cooperate to

co-labor with

those who have embraced their design

i want you to look at a couple verses

with me

ii chronicles 20

and ezra 6.

there’s just a theme here i’m gonna i’m

gonna pull on

uh i’m i’m not gonna do what what i

normally like to do is more

of a full study but

in second chronicles 20.

we’ve got this military conflict

we have the lord giving strategy giving

direction giving plan to

the people of god and in verse 20 this

easy to remember 2020 clear vision

verse 20 so they arose early in the

morning they went out to the wilderness

of toccoa

and as they went out jehoshaphat stood

and said hear me o judah

and inhabitants of jerusalem believe

in the lord your god and you shall be

established

believe his prophets and you shall

prosper

okay now listen carefully i want you to

i want you to hear this over and over

again in your heart

believe in the lord your god and you

shall be established

believe his prophets and you shall

prosper

there’s this crazy idea that has

entered much of the church

that because i am a child of god

all i need is him

i love people i care for people i spend

my life with people

but essentially my life depends directly

on god speaking to me and caring for me

there’s enough truth to that to keep

people in deception

my need to hear from god for myself

does not nullify my need for the

prophets

my need of the prophets does not cancel

out my need to hear from god for myself

they work in tandem

the way most of us function if he only

spoke to us directly

we would become independent we would use

what he said

to prove we’re superior we would argue

proving we’re right and someone else is

wrong

when the word comes through community

it affects community it um

blesses community and it emphasizes

our need for one another the bible says

we are

members of one another and uses the

physical body

to illustrate what it looks like to be

joined

together

in acts chapter 2 we won’t go there but

in acts chapter 2

king david is actually called a prophet

a prophet is someone who hears directly

from the lord

but when he wanted to build a temple for

god

god wouldn’t talk to him

if god is silent it’s never punishment

it’s either because he has already

spoken

and you need to review what you’ve heard

or he’s trying to connect you with the

right people

that will add into your life the missing

piece because it emphasizes connection

it emphasizes the fact we don’t have it

all

the bible does not say i have the mind

of christ

it says we have the mind of christ

it says our father who art in heaven

there is something that is gained in the

corporate expression

that you cannot gain any of the weight

this excites me now

um uh the healing revival how many of

you have read anything or heard anything

about the healing revival back in 1948

on into the 50s

some of the most extraordinary things

literally that the world has ever seen

happen

in that era but it was all through

the generals of the army it was the

season

it was the generals of the army what god

is doing in this

hour is the generals are equipping the

saints

so picture it this way here’s this high

level of anointing that nobody can reach

so this general of the army equips all

the saints around him

until they come into a place of

anointing that was

once only occupied by the generals of

the army

that releases them to explore even

greater dimensions

and realms in the spirit of god so that

we can manifest jesus

much more clearly in glory in power and

presence

in purity

i remember chris do you mind if i share

your story of william branham you’re

asking the lord for

for is that all right yeah i i ask him

in public so that he’s

shamed if he says no no

no i i i wouldn’t i wouldn’t do that

yeah

sorry bad joke bad joke bad

bad timing no no class at all right

there

um i was i was really inspired by this

happened i don’t know maybe 15 years or

so ago

chris was asked what one of the great

heroes that we’ve had in

in the realms of anointing is a man

named william branham

tragic things at the end but that

doesn’t mess up how god used it

solomon still made it into the book

value what god values if you want to

live smart

favor who he favors

all right um he asked the lord

lord i want to i want to i want his gift

i want to operate in his anointing

something to that effect

and the lord spoke very clearly he says

you couldn’t handle it

am i right you couldn’t handle it and

chris then came back and said well then

don’t give it to me

only give it to the to the entire church

and the moment he had in the lord if i

remember correctly

is that he felt the lord was pleased

over his response

it wasn’t about him having an anointing

that draws everybody’s attention

it was about the church coming into a

place in god

that represents jesus more clearly

i i love that i love that example so

much i’ve used it a number of times

so here is this powerful moment in

israel’s history

and it says they believed god

and they believed his prophets

interesting in scripture it says

and israel believed god and they

believed moses

they weren’t contradictory it was

necessary

to see a co-laboring expression

of what it looked like to trust god it’s

easy to say i trust god

and don’t trust any people because it

can’t be measured

john put it another way it’s easy to say

you love god whom you can’t see

and hate your brother whom you can see

it’s illegal to claim a spiritual

reality that cannot be measured in the

natural

so i love god with all my heart it has

to you have to be able to examine

and measure it and how i treat people

it’s what validates

that unseen reality that i am supposed

to walk in

it’s the same in faith it requires

a faith in the giftings of god not the

people are always 100

but the spirit of god is within us to

help us weed through the times

there’s error or their opinion has been

added to a word

that’s the truth in the old testament

the prophets were judged the

new testament prophecy is judged

get chris’s teaching on this it’s good

but it’s

if there were royalties from the message

tonight chris i’d give them all do you

ever yes

so here it says they believed god and

they believed his prophets

it says they believed god and they

believed moses

gideon at one point says

give this shout it’s a shout of

declaration shout out praise here to

break these

these vases with candles and it’s a

weird story break these candles

and then shout for the lord and for

getting

sometimes we can live impressed by our

own

faith that cannot be measured when in

fact it is measured

by our confidence in the sovereignty of

god to use the people around us

to fill it in where we lack

it’s called trust

so it says believe the lord your god

you’ll be established believe his

prophets and you will prosper anybody in

here want to prosper

i know that i know that some are too

holy for it and and i get it

i get it you don’t need it but the rest

of us really want the prosper

i’ve told every every once while i tell

people i said listen

if if you’re not hungry for more then

you’re just being selfish

yes the most acceptable form of

selfishness because it proves to me

you’re untouched by the needs of people

around

you

that’s not you that’s it that my other

folks it’s them other folks it’s

it’s not even you on tv it’s not you

either it’s everybody else

all right go to uh ezra chapter six and

we’ll read another verse and

then we’ll just we’ll camp on it for a

few minutes and and uh

try to find a place to land all right

it’s just another verse that just talks

about the uh the prophets

in ezra 6

on page 665 in the anointed version

verse 14 it says so the elders of the

jews built

and they prospered through the

prophesying

of haggai the prophet and of zechariah

the son of edo

isn’t that interesting they prof they

prospered

through the prophesying of

these prophets

this is not a new subject for us i i

bring this up every few months in some

measure

tonight it’ll be a little bit different

measure but

the value what you dwell on

shows me what you value it’s what you

treasure

and if it’s incorrect if it’s inferior

if you’re dwelling something inferior

then it becomes misplaced worship

if it is part of what exists in the

realm of god’s kingdom his rule

think on these things things that are

lovely good report et cetera

when i am locked in to who he is

just think of this process enters gates

with thanksgiving his courts with praise

all right what is thanksgiving

a response to the works of god the

actions of god

what his praise a response to his nature

his character okay so thanksgiving

is my response to a work of god now the

lord spoke and he said

to israel i have revealed my works

but to moses i have revealed my ways

the currency that we use in this

interaction

is response to what we’ve discovered of

him

the cancer that was healed the vertebrae

missing in the back and the ladies and

running and dancing jumping around the

room

i hear this news i don’t understand ever

how he does that stuff

but i don’t ever try to understand it i

i don’t try to wrap my head around it i

try to wrap my heart around it

my heart will always take me places my

head can’t fit

so i embrace that which he’s done and

then give appropriate response

but then what happens you start seeing

he heals he restores

you become more deeply impressed with

his nature

as a father to care for his own

so now it’s gone from the works we never

move from the works in the sense that

they are valuable because they’re always

valuable jesus

never scolded anyone who pursued him for

a miracle

he never ever said to somebody you

should be seeking relationship with me

and not your eyesight he would always

perform the miracle

to give them access to the relationship

the miracle creates the faith for

ongoing encounter

it’s valuable

so we become enraptured in a sense with

this heart of god we come

we become uh sensitive to aware of his

nature

we start functioning different we we

handle

problems that come our way if i only am

familiar with the works of god

i will at least know a miracle is

possible

but when i see the heart of god i begin

to see a miracle is probable there’s

there’s an exchange with a person see

i i i perhaps talked a little bit

confusing at the beginning about

about um the emotional response to the

anointing

making a distinction between our

emotional response and the actual

anointing

because if we don’t know how to separate

if we don’t know how to separate the two

acknowledge the two

we won’t know how to cooperate with what

he’s doing and we will actually think

the joy we feel

releases the miracle and it’s just not

always the case

sometimes we want to dance around

somebody because we’re so happy

and he’s saying put your hand on the

forehead and cast the affliction out

and if we don’t know how to respond to

the person who is functioning in

operation

then when we lay hands on them nothing

is given

most of the time when hands are laid

nothing is released

because it’s not an act of faith it’s an

act of symbolism

faith needs a seed a confession

and an action

so here they prospered through the

prophesying

of the prophet haggai the prophet

zechariah

this was for the rebuilding of uh of the

temple and

the city that had been destroyed the

previous story was concerning a battle

conflict with surrounding nations

the point was whether you’re building

something

in your life and all of us should be

building something

we’re not just we’re not just sitting

here waiting for jesus to come and

rescue us

once again we had a profound word this

morning uh if you were not here please

get it on our podcast profound word we

are called

as reformers to build and

whether you’re building something or

you’re in the middle of an intense

conflict that you don’t understand

doesn’t matter what place you find

you’re in you’re in the positive place

of increase

or you’re in the negative place of

conflict both times they survived and

became victorious through the prophetic

you attract what you value

in mark it says guard your hearing

and whatever standard you set more will

be given to you besides so in other

words

if i in fact this will happen in any

business in town

you take a brand new employee put them

in that business if they value

gossip within two weeks they will

automatically have attracted every

gossip in the business to their desk

it’s not because they put up a sign it’s

not even necessarily because they

started gossiping

there’s an unseen reality of attraction

the standard that is set attracts

when we value the voice of the lord

whether it’s from the pages of scripture

as we read

or the prophet calls you out in a

meeting

we value what god is saying

many people become discouraged with the

word

because they didn’t realize when they

joined this army

that a word attracts conflict

i’m just trying to encourage you i’m

just i’m just here to help

just here to help matthew 13 he talks

about the seed planted

in the the stone the wheaty weedy ground

he said when tribulation and persecution

arises

because of the word the word

actually attracts conflict why because

you have to be given a choice if you’re

not given a choice to believe this or to

deny it

then you will not receive a reward

rewards require

options you’re not rewarded for anything

that you had no option in

god is a father who looks for

opportunity to reward

so he will allow a contradictory word to

rise up in your environment

to the word he has declared why because

he’s

anxiously awaiting the opportunity to

give you a reward

it is not punishment that’s why the

scripture says he

he does not tempt you he cannot tempt

you because he himself cannot be tempted

with evil

so none of these situations are there

for our failure they are therefore our

strengthening

and to help reinforce the focus

of worship the fear would not become

misplaced worship in me but instead

that which god has said has the

affection of my heart and so i dwell on

i think i ponder

see what you ponder what i ponder

reveals what i value

what i ponder on reveals what i will

worship

it’s an interesting story in um

judges where the lord spoke to israel

and he said i

told you not to fear the gods of the

amorites but you did not obey

how was it manifested they worshipped

the gods of the amorites

he told them he said i told you

don’t fear the gods of the amorites but

you didn’t obey

how was their disobedience manifested

they worshipped the gods of the emirate

what’s the point

what you fear determines what you

worship

you may you may say i don’t i don’t

worship money

but you are afraid of going broke

and while you may not bow

or sing songs towards the almighty

dollar

the effect does this make sense the

effect on the heart is

it has defiled its misplaced worship

he said in matthew either you will love

the one concerning god and mammon
