When you have a big problem, maybe a problem
that to you would even fit in the category
of tragic, do not ever let these words come
out of your mouth: “Well, God, don’t you love
me?” Just because we have a problem is not
an indication that God doesn’t love us. It’s
sometimes an indication that the devil hates
us, and he’s gonna try to do everything he
can to derail you from your faith. Our faith
will be tested at different times in our life.
If we weren’t gonna have any problems, we
wouldn’t need any faith. That’s what faith
is for. Faith takes us through the times that
we don’t understand and helps us come out
victorious on the other side. You may be going
through something, but the good news is, you’re
going through. You’re still moving, you’re
still alive, you’re still breathing. You’re
going somewhere. You’re going through. You’re
not devastated in the middle of, you’re going
through. And guess what? When you come out
on the other side, you’re gonna be stronger
than you were when you went in, and you won’t
even smell like smoke. Shadrach, Meshach,
and Abednego went into the fiery furnace and
the wicked king turned it up seven times hotter
than normal, and when they came out, they
didn’t even smell like smoke. There was a
fourth man that was seen in the furnace with
them, and Jesus is always with us in all of
our trials and tribulations.
